Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota

The Best Stay.... Home in Bogota.

My stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá Casa Medina was extraordinary from beginning to end, made even more memorable by the remarkable team who brought the hotel’s legendary service to life. The property itself is stunning — a historic architectural gem filled with warmth, character, and understated luxury — but it’s the people who truly elevate the experience. Pedro, the bellman, set the tone from the moment I arrived. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made me feel immediately welcomed. Felipe, the doorman and security professional, was equally exceptional — attentive, gracious, and always ready with a smile. Both are incredible ambassadors of Colombian hospitality and absolute assets to the hotel. At Boulevardier, the service reached another level. Hanz, the mixologist, is a true artist. His creativity, passion, and mastery behind the bar made every drink an experience. And the wonderful Felipe (a different Felipe), also at Boulevardier, brought warmth, sincerity, and engaging conversation that made the evening unforgettable. Their hospitality felt effortless and heartfelt. My room was beautifully appointed, the atmosphere serene, and every detail throughout the hotel reflected thoughtful care. Casa Medina is more than a place to stay — it’s a place to feel welcomed, appreciated, and connected. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The best place in Bogota. I used to stay at the Sofitel, but the Casa Medina is the best in the city. Superb location in the gastronomic district in BOG, Rosales is truly lovely. Wonderful service, food, confort. And that steam room. It doesn't get any better

Excellent

The Four Seasons Casa Medina is an excellent hotel. The hotel is located in the former home of a Colombian architect. The entire property was extremely clean. Our room was spacious. Housekeeping was great. The food and service were exceptional. All of the employees were so friendly and would do anything for you (and could speak English!). There was a cozy room across from reception with a fireplace that was great for relaxing after spending the day sightseeing The only three cons that I could see were: 1. The hotel is located on a busy street. If noise is a problem when sleeping, ask for a room overlooking the side street. 2. The hotel is located about 20 minutes ride from La Candelaria. Taxis cost about COP 30-35. 3. The Speakeasy bar in the basement had live music on the weekends. The DJ's were horrible. One played rap music with vulgar language. Come on guys . . . It's a Four Seasons and a speakeasy. Find a new DJ who plays some soothing lounge music! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Centrally located, charming old hotel

We stayed at the Four Seasons for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. We chose the à la carte breakfast instead of the buffet, which felt more relaxed and enjoyable. The room was comfortable, and everything met our expectations. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return.

Full of character

This was the last stop on our Ecuador/Columbia trip We only gave ourselves one day for Bogota which I think was enough Having sampled Cartagena and Medellin on route you really have to search for the attractions here ; we did find some! We chose this hotel because it looked liked it had character and would be restful for our last stop It proved to be a good choice. Delightful helpful staff . Gave us good local advice The suite was lovey and quirky No it's not a typical four seasons but that was in its favour. Lovely restaurant. Hotel felt very empty but i'm not complaining about that Gave us a nice room extension before our European evening flight
