Amazing two night stay at the Hyatt Coconut Point. We booked this trip to celebrate my mom's 85th birthday. Hotel is gorgeous and immaculate. Pools are dreamy. We had a hiccup the first night and Kerry went above and beyond to make it right. The service at the hotel is wonderful -- we especially loved Chrstine in the restaurant who waited on us two mornings in a row. She remembered our orders and was so friendly. The gentleman at the omlette station was also so warm and kind. The hotel was sold out both nights but never felt crowded. Unlike other resorts, there is no pool chair game here -- we always found seating.

Be aware that this is a kid friendly Spa. Lots of kids. Pool lagoon, slides, lazy river are all very nice and looked like fun. However, the “adult only” section was not monitored and some parents believed their kids are entitled to go anywhere. One dad decided the adult pool was the place to throw the football around. The facility is beautiful and well maintained but understaffed in the bars, restaurants, and at the pool. You are told to wear wristbands in order to be on the pool grounds but no one enforces it. We met some couples who weren’t guests of the hotel but came to the pool daily. Could have been a 10/10 experience with proper staffing and monitoring.

Fantastic stay at this hotel. The water slides were great, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was perfect. Great stay all around!

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa was nothing short of exceptional—truly one of the most memorable vacations we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the experience was first class. The property itself is absolutely stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed in every detail. It is, without a doubt, our favorite Hyatt we’ve ever visited. The kids were completely in their element the entire trip. Between the incredible pools, water slides, and endless activities, they were nonstop smiles. They especially loved the face painting and organized kids’ activities, which gave them something fun and engaging to look forward to every day. The poolside experience was equally impressive. The food and drinks were outstanding—everything from refreshing cocktails to the unforgettable “killer colada” was top-notch. And the wood-fired pizza? Easily some of the best we’ve had at any resort. Dining across the property exceeded every expectation. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that started each day perfectly. Dinner at Tarpon Bay was a highlight of the trip—each dish was exceptional. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the lobster bisque was rich and flavorful, and the tuna and scallops were cooked to perfection. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the service. Every single team member we encountered—from the bell staff to housekeeping to the wait staff—delivered warm, attentive, and genuinely first-class service. You can tell there is a strong culture of hospitality here, and it makes all the difference. This resort delivers on every level: beautiful surroundings, incredible food, family-friendly amenities, and outstanding service. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

This was our third family vacation to Hyatt regency coconut point. We love it. There’s plenty to do between the water park, beach and nearby attractions. We love the cool beans cafe in the lobby. This year was more lively and the hotel was in great shape. Other years have been post hurricane or post covid and it was quieter. This time was not too busy, still. The rooms are nice however the family suite and the Palm suite have pull out sofa beds as part of their accommodations, which are not comfortable. The grounds are kept up and we love the lawn games. The rock climbing wall and the chess boards were removed. My family was disappointed about chess but we will remember to bring a board next time.
