We loved the staff here. However, the place is dated, but basically clean. The location from town is too far to walk at night and the hotel offers no transportation options after 4:30PM. Hotel did not refresh our bath towels over a 3 night stay. No ice machines for guest available.

Located on the coastline of East Boothbay is the Spruce Point Inn. Without exception, the staff was courteous, amiable and professional at both the Inn, the pool areas and the restaurant and bar. You can leave your car and take the trolley into Boothbay harbor. The oceanfront room in the lodge was well appointed and very clean - the view - amazing. The resort offers something for everyone from toddlers to seniors. Don't miss the food at Salty Stag.

The property is out dated and needs a seriously refresh. It felt more like a $125 motel than a $500+ a night hotel. Actually, I would like to have a refund if possible. Renter beware. While the property was nice the rooms are outdated.

The Spruce Point Inn sits on a beautiful piece of property in Boothbay Harbor. That is where the luxury ends. For the price we paid for 3 nights we could have stayed in the nicest resort in New England. Instead we were at a summer camp and not an elevated one. The staff is kind however they have very little training. The rooms are musty and outdated is an understatement. I understand that at one time a wonderful family owned this resort and took pride in it’s success and hospitality . Those days have past. My biggest takeaway is that I no longer trust Conde’ Nast recommendations.

Beautiful location; clean and comfortable accommodations; challenging booking system; pre-arrival communications were frustrating.
