Elegant
Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the prime shopping area of Bordeaux. We had good service and several meals on site at different venues. Although the room was a lil dark with a courtyard view it was spotless and had a great bathroom. I cannot describe the grand elegant lobby u just have to go witness it yourself.

Tiny rooms with small storage
We were with a large tour group and they were probably trying to keep the cost down. Their was not a lot os storage and the room was small. Their shower was in the tub and a challenge to get in and out. The view was another wall. Nothing, other than location, warrants staying here.

Exceptional Hotel in Exceptional Location
My wife and I highly recommend the Intercontinental Bordeaux. Our recent 6-night stay was exceptional in all ways from the room and service to the front desk and concierge to the restaurant and bar. All aspects of our stay were memorable, and the Hotel staff delivered so many things over and above that made this stay the best ever for us. We will definitely be back!

Good. Could Easily Be Better
A difficult review to write. Two couples staying for four nights. Staff were attentive, cheerful and very helpful. The couple of issues we had with our room were minor (safe, toilet) but maintenance folks were there in record time to fix the issues. The hotel is well located across from the Opera House. Our suite looks to have been two rooms that they have combined, putting in a folding door between the rooms. We had two bathrooms (one with a tub and one with a shower), two toilets, two safes, two fridges etc. The room was reasonably appointed. Perhaps dated but not old. Breakfast was a disappointment. We expected much better pastries and cooked eggs. It was OK but not what we would have expected from one of the culinary capitals of the world. Service the first morning was chaotic but the next three mornings were efficient.
