We booked waterfront premium hotel room and stay at Boston Warf Hotel for special family occasion on April 28 and 29th, 2026. When we arrived, the valet was extremely uncourteous and putting pressure on us to use valet saying that we had just 15 minutes of check in otherwise we have to pay all day price plus tips. As we entered, we observed that carpeting and lobby area looked dated. We were checked in on the lobby level floor in the back where there was water view. However, as we approached our room, we could hear loud noises and feel vibrations from heavy construction. We thought it was some construction outside the hotel, but we were in a rush to get to an event, so we ignored it. When we checked in, we were not told of any construction noise or disturbance. The next day at 7am in the morning we were awakened by a loud/heavy construction/drilling noise. The construction as it turned out was in the hotel premises next door room to us being built/constructed. I went to the front desk to complain about the situation and spoke with the “Director of Front Office (Director)” who was very rude to me about the situation and seem to offer a change of room which was significantly lower grade than what we had booked. The title of the Director was a glorified title for an uncultured personality who had no clue what customer service is. She was speaking to me on a high pitch hoping to scare me which failed. I left the discussion angry and we went for breakfast outside the hotel. Upon returning to the room, I called front desk and asked for the Manager/General Manager (GM). I was told the GM was in a meeting and would call me back in a half hour. In a half hour I heard back from the front desk, and I was asked to come to the front. I requested that the GM come to my room so that I wanted him to experience what we were experiencing. I was told that they would meet with me at the front desk only. So, I went there. When I reached in a two-minute conversation I was told to vacate the premises within 1.5 hours as my behavior was inappropriate. The manager told me that my previous day’s deposit was already refunded the night before and no further charge will be made as they have cancelled our reservation. The GM said the construction did not begin at 7am and he was there when the construction started and he said the noise was mild sanding of the luxury room being built. Clearly lying and trying to intentionally minimize the disturbance and using intimidation. We left the hotel premises as soon as possible. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experience with the accommodation, hotel décor and dating. Our room furniture, carpet and the bathroom were dated for a premium waterfront room that we paid for. The management and staff behavior in our experience did not match the cosmopolitan environment and cultural mix that City of Boston represents.

We had an amazing time at Boston Harbor hotel. We brought our 2 kids and puppy and everybody was so welcoming. Hanging out with the doormen was a vacation highlight for the kids. Everybody went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had fun. They even gave the kids stuffed animals and replaced my daughters sheets with fragrance free ones since she has sensitive skin.

Our stay at the Boston Harbor Hotel was wonderful. The housekeeping staff made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was excellent. Our waiters/waitresses for breakfast and dinner were exceptional! The doormen were always so polite and conscientious. Everyone made our trip memorable.

We live locally, about 40 min outside of Boston. The Boston Harbor Hotel is our go to for family staycations. The staff are wonderful and the property is ideally located to explore the city. The newly renovated pool and hot tub are a big hit with the kids. We feel well taken care of by the team. Everyone is friendly and requests are quickly managed.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is top notch with amazing service! Their hospitality started at check in with the young gent who upgraded our room to a nice harbor view since the hotel was not at capacity and knew I was hoping to make this a special visit with my daughter. Room service provided extra waters. At check out it was the first time I experienced where they did not need to assign a time rather just made note of a late check out which was helpful since our flight was delayed due to a snow storm the night before. We departed at 1pm so it was not anything unusual but they made it pain free to request.
It's a great addition to your portfolio of fine hotel and resorts that you provide on your site and where you offer your specials.
