Possessing an inimitable East Coast essence, a pastoral countryside, and cities vibrant with Colonial architecture, New England is a lifestyle for some, a continual pilgrimage for others. Experience its heart and soul with landmark luxury in historic Deerfield, Massachusetts, and an award winning stay at a Boston boutique classic. Built in 1925, it features a beautiful neo-Georgian façade that complements the neighborhood's rich architectural history. Accented with marble and brass, your One-Bedroom Suite is an opulent affair. Dining is among the finest in the city at Clio, which under the direction of Chef Ken Oringer has become one of the top restaurants in North America and has been consistently lauded as among the best in Boston.

I've stayed at the Eliot on two previous occasions and gladly booked again when I was planning this visit. The hotel is small compared to the mega-hotels in Boston, having 79 suites and 16 guestrooms (95 total). It's a boutique hotel and reminds me of the hotels in Paris! It's service is refined and quite accommodating for any request. The suite that we had booked was spotlessly clean and quite spacious. The draperies and bed linens were of top quality and our rooms were decorated quite tastefully. We had requested feather pillows when making our booking and they were in place upon our arrival. There were two chocolate chip cookies and a welcome note on the coffee table in our living room. The bathroom was most adequate with a shower that had good pressure on the 7th floor (9 story building). A bountiful breakfast is offered in their restaurant for an additional fee consisting of eggs, sausages, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, breads/bagels and the MOST delicious, flaky croissants that I've had outside of Paris! There are MULTIPLE restaurants in the immediate area on Newbury Street (begins ~ 500 feet from the hotel) as well as shops. The star of our stay was the Guest Service Manager, Ms. De La Torre, who quickly and professionally resolved two minor blips in an otherwise MOST enjoyable stay. I will always stay at the Eliot whenever I am in Boston.

Old world, beautiful hotel with wonderful service and a fantastic location on a very posh street. I was super happy with my very charming, spacious room and all wonderful people who work there!

This was my first stay at The Eliot but it won’t be my last! I thought the service was great. Valet and bellman were attentive. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Once I opened the door of my room (with an old school key, which I loved!), I was blown away with its elegance and size. Other than a so-so room service breakfast, it was a great stay!
