The Eliot Hotel

This was my second visit to The Eliot and it did not disappoint. The staff is welcoming and friendly from the doorman to the front desk and all places in between. The suite was clean, nicely decorated and a welcome place to return to after a busy day out. Checkout was easy, we called ahead for our car and a bellman and we were soon loaded up and on our way. The location is good, close to restaurants and shops, Fenway, art museums and the Emerald Necklace and the walking paths. I would chose the Eliot again.

Horrible experience.. whole hotel needs an upgrade.. carpets stained, furniture stained, crooked mirrors in every room. Bathroom grout filthy, needs a complete overhaul! It is overhyped as a luxury boutique hotel and it is anything but! I understand it’s old but I’ve stayed in old hotels with much better and cleaner rooms and building! For the price I paid and the pictures online I expected way more! I’ve been in nicer 3 star hotels! The pictures are very very deceiving! Also had to change rooms twice because the doors literally would not shut without a “body slam” . The second room doors were also badly beat up and had to push to close after waiting over three hours for a second room! Save your money and book a different hotel

Lovely hotel with charming & classy furnishings. Only downside, the 2 BR suite is not a true suite . It is a 1 BR suite , with a standard room —- accessed by connecting doors .

Great experience all round. Good location. Room was very well appointed, clean and quiet. Staff were very knowledgeable and attentive.

Fabulous!!! The location was ideal, the property was immaculate and charming, the room was beautiful in every detail, the staff was attentive but not intrusive. The General Manager clearly sets the bar high and delivers a great experience for the guests. Definitely a gem of a hotel and I look forward to returning.
