Beautiful hotel, with so much charm. We enjoyed our stay celebrating our anniversary. We stayed in the king suite and it was a very special stay. We will definitely be back!

Scam

There is no person to help with the valet even though they charge $65 a night. There is no luggage cart and we carried in our luggage into the hotel. Their printer system was down so we were not able to receive a receipt upon checkout. I was then charged the full value of the hotel after using I Prefer points to book a free complimentary night. When I called once I finally received the bill, they told me I prefer has nothing to do with them even though this is the corporation that owns the hotel, so they should be familiar with redeeming the points. Also once I FINALLY received the bill via email we stayed one night, a Sunday evening, and there were fees charged for the room on Friday and Saturday night the two days prior that we were not even there.

Ignorant staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

For the most part, I enjoyed my stay at the Eliot. The room was lovely and it’s a great location in boston, just off commonwealth ave. However, I found the staff, and in particular the housekeepers, to be entirely unpleasant. They would refrain from even replying with a hello to my greetings, look me up and down with disgust and I even caught a pair of them (I think they could have been British or Irish) whispering in my presence. I spoke to front desk about this issue and they did nothing to help me….

Meh

The hotel is fine. Rooms are nice and spacious but there is absolutely nothing that makes it stand out as being boutique. My summary: meh

Elegant Hotel With Attentive Service

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Eliot Hotel. The room was elegant and comfortable, the location in the Back Bay neighborhood was fantastic and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. We would absolutely stay there again!
