Amazing door staff
We turned up to the wrong AKA hotel in Boston but the door staff couldn’t have been more helpful unloading and reloading our family baggage. A shout out to Rudy who took everything with a smile and got us to the right AKA hotel. And AKA Boston Common also keeps up the high standards we’ve come to enjoy at AKA.

Great personality
Love the hotel staff. Rudy the doorman was the best along with the receptionist from Southy Boston and a great waitress forgot her name but she was from El Salvador. Hotel is super close to all attractions and all very walkable

Our first time at this beautiful, unique hotel - and I highly recommend it to all! Gorgeous historic building, amazing general manager and staff, incredible location - it really was all we could have wished for from start to finish! Truly the most comfortable beds we’ve had at a hotel! Highly highly recommend.

Exceptional Service from Rudy and the Doorman Team
We had a wonderful stay at AKA Boston Common! The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located, but what truly made our experience special was the outstanding staff. Rudy was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We also want to recognize the entire doorman team—they were consistently attentive, professional, and kind every time we entered or left the hotel. Their warm hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Thank you to Rudy and everyone at AKA Boston Common for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again!
