Great historical building, turned into a modern and beautiful hotel
Amazing hotel in the Back Bay Area, historical building with incredible design and very warm vibe, it has a great bar and very attentive staff, the location is perfect next to many of the best historical sites and quite safe

Pet friendly, clean and great staff
The rooms were exceptionally clean. It was probably one of the cleanest I’ve experienced, and I typically stay at 4-star or higher properties. Although this is a pet-friendly hotel, there was no sign or scent of previous pets. My husband, who is highly allergic to dog dander, had no issues at all. Our poodle was also warmly welcomed, with a dog bed and bowls ready upon arrival. The staff were all wonderful, especially Chris, the lobby attendant. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, offering assistance before we even had to ask. The location is excellent, with great spots like Flour Bakery just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the neighborhood. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for both comfort and service.

Relaxing
We stayed for one night but the hotel is very nice and the service was amazing. First time there since it was renovated and became an AKA hotel

Excellent pet friendly hotel with great service
Excellent service at AKA Back Bay. Chris and his colleague were super helpful with the metric ton of luggage and our cats were super welcome and cared for.

Cat Friendly! Ryan went above and beyond to make our cats feel welcome
We could not have been more impressed by this hotel. Not only was the hotel beautiful and clean with wonderful staff, they were happy - no, I’d even say excited! - to welcome our cats. We were so nervous to travel with our cats, but it was unavoidable. Ryan blew our expectations out of the water with the in-room welcome for our boys. When we arrived, there was a litter box set up, cat scratchers and toys, a pet bed, dishes, and bottled water specifically for the cats. As if this weren’t enough, it became obvious during our stay that they had put thought into our room location, making sure we were at the end of a quiet hallway where minimal noise would effect the cats. I would also like to give a shout out to Chris who helped us with our mountain of luggage with a smile on his face and friendly conversation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but if you are traveling with pets it’s a no brainer.
