My wife and I spent one night here for a concert at Fenway and wished we had booked a longer stay. “S” greeted us upon on our arrival and made us feel immediately at ease. He answered all of our questions and checked in on us each time we passed the front desk. We will be recommending Hotel Commonwealth to anyone visiting Fenway or Boston in the future!

The staff were warm and friendly. Frankie was always at the door to greet us and give any needed help both when we arrived and when we left and also in between!! The hotel was lovely and we felt very safe while there. We were there for a Red Sox game and the walk to the stadium was nice even for me at 80. I would definitely recommend the Commonwealth Hotel, especially if attending a Red Sox game.

Choose this hotel if you are going to a Red Sox game! Or just to visit this nice city of Boston. It was great! It was our first time to Boston and this city didn't disappoint! This is one of few hotels that have Queen beds which we needed for our family. The many others only have double beds. I researched many. The room was a nice size. We felt safe walking around the area to Fenway park. Lots of places to eat, subway right outside the hotel, although we didn't use it. Parking is expensive but, it is what it is. I was worried about the freeway being right next to the hotel, but you can barely hear the noise and it wasnt a big deal at all. Choose the Fenway view...it is worth it. Top 3 things i loved- #1-the shower! The shower head pressure was great, the shave step, and the shower valve on the opposite wall of the showerhead. #2- the best hotel blowdryer! #3 very comfortable beds. And shout out to the the doormen- they were friendly and remembered us as we went in and out. I would definitely stay here again and recommend that you do.
