Hotel Commonwealth

This hotel meets all requirements for a fantastic stay in Boston, straight from the onset on arriving at the hotel we were greeted with a friendly smile. The front desk were very helpful when checking in, Nick Macdonald was most helpful during our stay, nothing was too much trouble, he was a godsend when trying to organise things to do and places to eat. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained, the room was cleaned and the beds made daily. The view from the window showed Fenway Park and the green monster in all its glory. Getting out and about from the hotel is a breeze, Kenmore square has both buses and the green line train right on the doorstep. If you love seafood then there is the Row 34 restaurant attached to the hotel and if sushi is more your style then there is Eastern Standards blue ribbon sushi. Checking out was 12 noon and after a fantastic stay we were able to relax and wait across from reception, this had been tastefully renovated prior to our stay, it was decorated for Christmas which was a hit with everyone. If your looking for a friendly hotel then this is the one for you, I will definitely be going back. Thank you Hotel Commonwealth and your staff for making our stay a memorable one.

I was in Boston for a funeral, and was hoping for a quiet stay, and Chris at the front desk went BEYOND with kindness and located a beautiful and very quiet room. The staff here was phenomenal- warm and friendly. Chris was so compassionate and wonderful, and "S" in the morning at the front desk was also so great.

The Hotel Commonwealth is a very nice, classic hotel with all the amenities one would expect in an nicely updated hotel. The staff is very friendly and quick to address any concerns or questions you may have. Our room was spacious, very clean, well-maintained, and quiet. We overlooked Commonwealth Ave, but were not disturbed by outside noise like we were at other hotels in Boston. The location on Commonwealth Ave is located right at the Kenmore T-line stop as well has having bus service. It is about a 5min walk to Fenway Park and all the restaurants and entertainment venues on Lansdowne St.

We had a wonderful experience here, every staff member is so friendly, accommodating, and professional. The rooms are so unique and extremely clean. They made our stay extra special for my boyfriend’s 24th birthday by upgrading us to a suite!! Thank you Hotel Commonwealth we truly appreciate it! We will most definitely be returning.

Nice location, nice atmosphere, great rooms, perfect value, super clean, cozy, everything works great, and a plus is the STAFF… all of them are superb, and a super shout out to Chris, Calvin, John, CheF, Kevin, and Jeff. They treated us so nice for my daughter’s bday become even more special…. Recommend and will come back
