Great Hotel Close to Fenway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We had a wonderful weekend in Boston and we could not have picked a better location. From a seamless check-in process with Jeff and his front desk staff. The location was so close to Fenway Park, which was perfect for going to the Red Sox Astros Game. The hotel had complimentary coffee and selection of waters. They have an afternoon bar which is a great touch in the lobby. This is our second time staying at Hotel Commonwealth and it won’t be our last!

Great weekend w/ Sox and Friends!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Commonwealth! It is a perfect location if you want to see the Red Sox and not have to fight for Ubers or the T. Mr. Jeff and his staff were polite and very responsive, even when we arrived at 0400 after flight delays. They also responded quickly to any issue that we had, which were few and far between. Thanks and would definitely stay at Hotel Commonwealth again!

Hotel Commonwealth hits a home run

Amazing experience at the Commonwealth hotel. I booked this room at random using hotwire. Chris at the front desk was able to get us early check in and when we told him it was our anniversary, he upgraded us to the "Red Sox suite" for free. The room was beyond anything I've ever experienced at a hotel. The baseball memorabilia was amazing and if you are aid fan - this is truly a must see. We will be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Luxury and Boston vibes for days!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Well I wrote Paige is on Google so I'll try and hit the hot points here. This hotel is amazing! Whether you are going into Boston to explore, or especially to see a Red Sox game at Fenway Park, this hotel simply cannot be topped. The location in Kenmore square is incredible, the staff are all amazing and the decor is both metropolitan, luxurious and extra special. Extra special if you are a Red Sox or any baseball fan. An elevator that is decorated to look like a baseball with famous autographs all around you. Amazing Red Sox, memorabilia and baseball theme, customized bottles of water when you walk in or whenever you request that are refillable as well as a kind of cool souvenir with the hotel Commonwealth and Red Sox logos stating official hotel of the Boston Red Sox. Jeff, John, Jennifer and Christian. I believe all help check us in and could not have made us feel more welcome. I spoke with Christian on numerous occasions and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone I interacted with simply wanted to make sure we were having the best time possible and that they were doing all they could to ensure it. This was a three-night trip with my eldest daughter and part of marking her 16th birthday. No, I did not specifically make note of this with anyone at the hotel other than casual conversation when welcoming us to check in that it was a special trip and a special birthday being sweet. 16. Nothing planned or special request which is what made this so special. Our first night after a winning Red Sox game, we walked into our room to find a tray with a beautiful fruit platter, two bottles of Saratoga spring water and a very touching customized birthday card left for my daughter. In casual conversation this staff hurt every word I said and clearly made note. This was not just a card that said happy birthday and enjoy some fruit. This card was for her and directly referenced. What a special birthday this was, that her father had planned this trip special with this day in mind and wishing her all of the best for an amazing sweet 16 and special trip to Boston with her father.. It was just a real class act and most certainly above and beyond. Thank you all so much at hotel Commonwealth, you guys really made it special for us. It meant a lot! Can't wait to return.
