What's not to enjoy at Hotel Commonwealth

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 hours ago

The ever cheerful greetings from Frankie the doorman! Professional yet friendly service at the front desk from Chris, S or Jennifer! And the lobby is a stunningly appointed array of destination points to sit and relax, meet up with friends or enjoy a cup of coffee. They offer superior La Colombe roasters fresh hot coffee (and never once an empty dispenser!) and a variety of milk/creamer choices. The gracious care from Bimal to accommodate our room requests. The comfort of a suite, and overlooking Fenway Park no less!! Hotel Commonwealth is sure to meet your expectations in your stay, and it's in a great location to boot!

We had a 5-Star experience at the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston. Jeff Ney was a pleasure to work with and is a first class professional that was so helpful during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel!

Ideal Spot for a Concert at Fenway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Hotel Commonwealth remains a benchmark for hospitality in Boston. We stayed for the Thomas Rhett concert at Fenway. From the moment we pulled up, everything about our experience was exceptional. What made our stay memorable was Jeff. As soon as we arrived, Jeff greeted us with a smile and enthusiasm that instantly made us feel welcome. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Not only for our stay, but for a perfect night at the concert. His local knowledge and recommendations added so much to our visit. Jeff is truly a standout and a big reason we’ll be returning! The location couldn’t be better, just steps from Fenway. Even with the excitement of a concert weekend, the hotel maintained a sense of calm and comfort that we really appreciated. If you’re heading to Boston, especially for anything at Fenway, Hotel Commonwealth is the place to be. If you’re lucky enough to cross paths with Jeff, you’re in for a treat!

Charming hotel in the heart of Boston

Beautiful welcome, incredible reception and gorgeous rooms. Jonathan was absolutely welcoming and informative. Boutique Hotel with the warmth of a small hotel but the amenities of a large. Close to all of the universities as well as the restaurants. So much to do and so much around to see. Would absolutely recommend.

Great visit for the Sox

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We had a great visit at Hotel Commonwealth from the moment we checked in (water and snacks provided) to checking out. The staff were extremely friendly and actively engaged with our family. The hotel is perfectly located for Red Sox games and our room even had a view of the stadium. There is an elevator that has famous Sox players autographs and we kept hoping we’d get that one whenever we left our room. Our room was spacious enough for five and we didn’t feel at all cramped. We did eat outside of the hotel, so I can’t speak to the restaurant, but the complimentary coffee bar by the elevators was great. I’m so glad that we chose the Hotel Commonwealth for our visit and we hope to return soon.
