Awesome view, great customer service, and at the front desk, S was very helpful and awesome at check in and check out. I couldn’t imagine anyone more helpful than S at the front desk. Thank you to Hotel Commonwealth crew for accommodating my sister’s wheelchair and for making my dad’s 40th perfect!

Best Hotel Event Staff I’ve Worked With

We held our team offsites here and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The entire team at Hotel Commonwealth is a DREAM to work with! Every staff member we interacted with was super-friendly, professional and attentive (not to mention patient with our changing needs!). Meeting facilities great, guest rooms were quiet, clean and pleasant. Perfect location close to downtown. I can’t recommend high enough!

S is exceptional! He has made our stays at the Commonwealth truly memorable. His professionalism and warm smile ensure that we feel pampered and taken care of throughout our visit. We will continue to choose the Commonwealth as our go-to hotel when we visit our daughter at Boston College. Thank you once again, S! You’re truly the best!

A Grand Slam Stay – Thanks to Nicholas MacDonald!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Commonwealth, the Official Hotel of the Boston Red Sox, during the recent Yankees vs. Red Sox series. As a Yankees fan visiting Fenway Park for the first time, I wasn’t sure what kind of welcome I’d receive—but thanks to Nicholas MacDonald, Concierge, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Nicholas added a personal touch to my stay, offering playful ribbing about our baseball rivalry while making sure I felt right at home. His warm hospitality and attention to detail truly elevated my visit. My room, #571, had a spectacular view of Fenway Park, which was a thrill for any baseball fan. The room was well-appointed, clean, and the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and professional, and the valet service was prompt and efficient. Hotel Commonwealth is surrounded by a fantastic selection of restaurants, many within walking distance: Blue Ribbon Sushi – Located right at the hotel, offering top-tier Japanese cuisine and creative dishes. Row 34 – A lively seafood restaurant and oyster bar with a strong New England identity. Deuxave – Upscale French-Italian fusion for a refined dining experience. Sweet Cheeks Q – Southern-style BBQ with generous portions and bold flavors. Hojoko – A funky izakaya serving sushi and Japanese street food in a rock-inspired setting. Tasty Burger, Boston Burger Company, and Cask’n Flagon – Great casual options for pre- or post-game bites. Whether you’re looking for fine dining or casual eats, the area around Hotel Commonwealth has something for everyone. Final Thoughts Special recognition goes to Nicholas MacDonald and his fine staff—they made my first Fenway experience unforgettable. Whether you're a Sox fan or a Yankee loyalist like me, Hotel Commonwealth hits it out of the park.
