Memorable stay at excellent hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 hours ago

The Langham is a beautiful hotel, providing excellent rooms, facilities and services, from arrival to departure. The interior has been restored in an amazing way, in rooms, restaurants, etc.Their staff is highly attentive. We will definitely return The Langham in upcoming Boston trips.

Wonderful Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

My wife and I stayed at the Langham in Boston to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. From the moment we stepped into the property until the moment we left 2 days later, everyone was so nice. It’s a beautiful hotel. We had the privilege of having access to the club level lounge and it is well worth it. The food, beverages and service were tremendous. We cannot wait to come back.

Family trip

This location lacked quality and service level experienced at other locations. Service quality at check-in was what one experiences at an average hotel chain. Room quality was poor. Very small windows, single vanity, etc

Luxury at Langham Boston

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This is definitely a 5 STAR hotel. You will not be disappointed staying here. If they run a promotion like 3rd night free, you can save. If you have AMEX platinum then I would book here with FHR. All areas of the hotel are clean and modern. The building used to serve as a federal reserve site so the theme of the restaurants and the setting maintain this aesthetic. Our room was very clean and modern. Large bathroom, walk in shower with rain and wand. The room had custom lighting controls and a large closet. Beds are super comfortable. Location carries with it some pros and some cons. The pros = very close to freedom trail, Franeuil Hall/Marketplace, short walk to North end (best itlaian food; Paul Revere house, The church, etc), short walk to the Wharf. Not too far to get to Boston Garden. We took an Uber to get to Fenway but probably could have walked that too. Its also in a very safe area. We came home late one night after World Cup and we had no issues. Cons on location = on the weekends the financial district is a ghost town. Apparently these cushy finance jobs only work on weekdays during bankers hours so literally nothing is open most of the day. For example, we arrived on Saturday around 2pm. We walked around for like 45 minutes trying to grab lunch and nothing was open. This is peak world cup when the Scots were in town. You would think places would be open or have "world cup hours" or something to capitalize. Nope. We walked from place to place and most don't open until about 4pm. Also, if you are looking for brunch or even a coffee or whatever on Sunday morning forget about it. NOTHING is open in the financial district. We are from the midwest and this concept is totally mindblowing. Its an easy workaround though, you can just grab your food at GRAN (in the Langham), which is open daily starting at 7am. Gran has delicious and generous breakfast options (beware it is expensive but you are in Boston at a 5 star hotel and the food quality is insanely good) and the FED restaurant is delicious too but it has a very small menu.

Overpriced and lacks Quality

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Stayed here twice and don't actually have a decent word to say about it. Lacking in everything needed to even be a 3 star hotel but priced to be 5 star. Faulty lockers, cold pool, very hot jacuzzi, overpriced food, lack of enthusiasm in staff. Just poor
