Wonderful Stay at Hotel AKA Back Bay
AKA Back Bay is a great place to stay when visiting Boston. The rooms and amenities are first rate. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It's location near several MBTA stations makes it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable, modern room with all the amenities. Welcoming, friendly and professional staff made us feel like we were home. Great location to walk to any destination in the city. Overall, a fantastic place to stay, whether it’s an overnight or longer visit!

Great place to stay that feels like a boutique hotel with great service and amenities
Great location in the Backbay area! Amenities and staff were wonderful! The in house restaurant provided a special menu for Marathon weekend and the food was delicious! We ate there 4 times during our stay and were very impressed! They even provided a personal finishers certificate with my name and Boston marathon results! Impressive!

Convenient and great service.
Great location, convenient to Back Bay, Boston Common, Fenway Park, South End. Great service and recently remodeled facilities. The gym is small but access to the nearby full service Equinox health club is a great perk. The Berkeley restaurant at the AKA has good food and very accommodating of special requests.

Outstanding Marathon Weekend Stay – We’ll Be Back!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hotel AKA Back Bay while in town for the Boston Marathon. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home the moment we arrived. A special shout-out to Nicholas, the manager, whose professionalism and personal touch elevated our entire stay. Chris, the bellman, was equally impressive—welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. It’s rare to come across such dedicated hospitality, and it made all the difference during a very important weekend for us. The hotel itself is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located. Whether you’re visiting for the race or simply to enjoy Boston, this is a must-stay, must-dine, and must-return kind of place. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality—see you next year for the marathon!
