Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport

Hosted my sister’s 40th- Rama was our server and he was so thoughtful and attentive. We felt like we always had a drink in hand, food was quick to come out, and was delicious. Highly recommend fish tacos and burger. Definitely recommend!

Wow. Scrolling through 8 pages of mostly 5-star reviews for only one month-we must have stayed in a different hotel. (Then I note some reviews are for a restaurant only or for the same worker, over and over.) We are Omni Rewards members and our experience was different. The staffer at check-in seemed quite new and was slow, then only half our room cards worked at rooms and elevators. Sometimes the same card would let us move between guest floors (we had different ones), sometimes it wouldn't, but when I went down to check the concierge we'd just tipped quite well was smiling down at something at his station and refused to acknowledge me. A different check-in person assured me all room cards would work on all guest floors, but the problem continued. The gym was great, really great, and my cleaner was quite kind and caring. But our "water view" rooms mostly had views of the dated, flat-roofed convention center and the hotel is quite remote as far as dining, shopping or walking about is concerned. The lobby is interesting and the beds were good, but we couldn't sit in the lobby, given the tricky stairs on the platform. We arranged in advance for late check-out but when I went down to have our room cards re-activated a different young man was quite unsure what to do and needed help. The cards he re-ran only worked for one room and after a delay a cleaner was kind enough to open one of our rooms so we could retrieve our bags--we never got to use the extra time as agreed. Breakfast at Kestra was quite pleasant but prices are ridiculous, and though we had several rooms there was only one $25 credit, so the price was still bumped up.

We had an enjoyable stay my husband and I. Staff was firndfly and courteous. We highly recommend and will definitely revisit

Everyone who worked there was absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful. Vy greeted us and checked us in, Mohammed helped us with our bags and gave us recommendations for the area.

We stay at the Omni every Christmas while visiting my husbands family and we love it. The hotel is clean, spacious, has various restaurant options, and the staff are very helpful. Valet service is also very helpful - big shoutout to Ziggy who was extremely courteous, kind and got us our car on short notice when we forget something important inside.
