The staff is top notch. They greet each guest and make you feel welcome and appreciated. Staff explains hotel amenities in great detail. The free water was a surprising detail we were grateful for.

If you want to experience Boston’s historic past, the Omni Parker House is where you should stay! The rooms are updated, clean, beds very comfortable! The food was great and don’t miss the Boston Cream Pie! Very warm & welcoming staff! Walking distance to everything in Historic Boston, highly recommend the Hop On & Off Bus!

10/10 experience. The valet service to the front desk personnel, the best I have encountered anywhere. Incredibly friendly and accommodating. The building and details, absolutely incredible. One of the most stunning buildings in the country. I love history and old architecture. I enjoyed reading through the documents framed on the walls in the lobby/common area. If I had one complaint, it would be the location, downtown Boston is a bustling place. Walking is the ticket to experiencing the city. I would recommend traveling around Boston by uber, Lyft or taxi. Parking is expensive and difficult. Renting a car if you plan on leaving the city. Thank you for a fabulous experience and stay!! If I am in the area, I will return for another stay.

The Parker House used to be my favorite Boston hotel. The newly renovated units have destroyed that character and were poorly planned and implemented in my view. The bathrooms in particular are cramped - with a narrow rectangular sink two feet long which is less than user friendly (to use faucet I had to fully extend both arms). There is also now a sliding bathroom door with no bottom track allowing the door to flop up a good 6 inches or more when pushed destroying any semblance of privacy. Also there is a bathroom sensor light that pops on when someone enters in the dark - very disruptive to everyone's sleep. In addition, when the bathroom door is slid open to the right it impedes the opening of the entry door - bumping into it when opened. I don't understand how these details slipped through the remodel. On top of these practical issues, the rooms are full of generic bland furniture and the old world character of the hotel has been completely lost. It's a shame, as I imagine there is no going back.
