Excellent Hotel - Highly Recommend

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We had a wonderful stay during our visit to Boston for a graduation. The location was excellent, within walking distance to everything we needed, which made the trip very convenient. The hotel has a beautiful entrance and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was consistently kind and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping did an exceptional job each day, keeping everything in perfect order and thoughtfully restocking coffee and essentials. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel restaurant after the graduation. The food was very good and it was a lovely way to end a special day. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would gladly stay here again.

Excellent experience and great banquet food!

The rooms were great and historical! The staff was excellent and super accommodating. The food at the events was very good especially for serving 200+ people. Overall really enjoyed the Parker House, plus the location of the hotel.

Great hotel, but rooms are small

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The Omni Parker House is a place to experience. Great common areas, great staff, in a terrific location just a few blocks from the Boston Commons. We enjoyed our stay very much and it was worth the extra expense to stay downtown near so many attractions. The history of the hotel is impressive. Make sure you visit the mini-museum in the basement. This is a great hotel. Our only issues were relatively minor. It's an older hotel, so the rooms are a bit on the small side. We had a deluxe room with two queen beds. The two beds were way too big for the size of the room. They should have doubles installed instead. There were 3 of us in our party and we spent our visit tripping over ourselves in the narrow passages between beds and the wall. There was nowhere to put luggage that wasn't in the way. And the 'desk' was merely a shelf with a chair that you couldn't sit in because it didn't fit between the bed and the shelf. The room would be fine with just a king or a pair of double beds, but with the Queens, it was almost unmanageable.
