Taj Boston

A good quality hotel overlooking Boston Common - a lovely location. Very nice classy rooms with friendly, professional staff. Nice lounge for hotel customers offering complimentary pastries, fruit and macarons with coffee and free water during the day- a nice touch (although the room does get busy dnd feels a bit small as a result). Only quibble - not having a concierge in the hotel is a big oversight- and felt like a big miss. Otherwise highly recommended- we had room 607 overlooking the Common which was delightful.

We went to The Street Bar for just a drink. We were seated at a table by the window. Our waitress, Conch, was lovely. We ended up staying for dinner because we just didn’t want to leave! It was a beautiful evening!

As always Conch was terrific… great service and very attentive Made us feel very welcome! Enjoyed chatting with Luke as well!!! Food and drinks were delicious!

We had a fabulous weekend in Boston at the Newbury. From the moment we stepped in until the moment we checked out, the staff was extremely accommodating, polite and warm. I would give 6 stars if I could . In an era where service and quality are so difficult to find, the Newbury is diamond in the rough! We can’t wait to return and couldn’t be happier that we chose to stay here.

From check-in, The Newbury sets the bar high for your stay. We had the pleasure of working with Ibrahim for our arrival, he was extremely kind and knowledgeable, any question or accommodation we had Ibrahim was able to expertly handle. Our room was spotless, and housekeeping seemed to strive for nothing less than excellence. I highly recommend visiting the Contessa, their rooftop restaurant, for breakfast at least once. The food was simply divine. Every staff member I had the pleasure of encountering was excellent, and made us feel truly valued at guests. The staff members at the bar are a joy to talk to as well, especially Tyler, one of the bartenders. The location of The Newbury is excellent as well, you are steps away from the public garden for a morning stroll, as well as many subway entrances for convenient travel around the city. I highly recommend booking here for your stay in Boston.
