BEWARE THE VALET!! This hotel has valet only parking. A couple months after the fact... I just discovered the valet disabled my car's dashcam as soon as I dropped it off. I was just in an accident in May 2025. The literal last recording on my dashcam was dropping the car off to the valets at W Hotel Boston on March 20th, 2025. The cam was purposely turned off within 5 seconds of the valet starting to drive it. It's supposed to run 24/7... and doesn't have the ability to shut off by itself. Three months later, I was in an accident and discovered my dashcam wasn't running... It was purposely turned off right after I dropped it off at W Hotel, Boston and the valet started driving. Don't trust them!!

The hotel was OK, but we were quite surprised to be hit with a last-minute $35-per-day "destination fee" (on top of all the other fees) that wasn't revealed until we checked in. So that's another $140 for the stay. We tried breakfast one day to offset the fee a little, but (of course) breakfast for two was easily $60+. And the bacon was raw on one end and cooked on the other. And I ordered tea and had to remind the waiter three times before I got it halfway through my meal. And one of the mini jars of jelly on the table was already opened. At least the eggs were good? Room was fine, service was fine. But the hidden fee absolutely left a bad taste in my mouth.

In general fairly happy with the hotel but would pick a different location next time. The hotel has a nightclub in the basement and 2 others in the nearby vicinity which all close at 2:00am, very noisy for an hour afterwards from police activity and guests talking when returning to their rooms.

Great location in downtown Boston. Excellent welcome on check-in & out. No office desk/chair in the room, which I would have preferred, but there is a small table in the room as an alternative. Bottled water for free in the rooms, expected but not always provided, so good to see. Nice bar area. Check in is on the entrance level - easy to miss.
