Excellent Service Recovery Made the Difference My stay at the W Boston initially got off to a rough start, but Ross at the front desk completely changed the direction of the experience. He listened, took ownership of the problem, and stayed involved until it was fully resolved. That kind of personal accountability is becoming increasingly rare in hotels, and Ross deserves recognition for handling the situation so professionally. Although the hotel does not have an executive lounge, the Marriott Bonvoy Platinum benefits were handled well and helped make up for its absence. Elite status felt recognized and appreciated. The hotel itself has the lively, contemporary atmosphere expected from the W brand. A hotel stay is often defined by how the staff responds when something goes wrong. Ross handled the situation exactly as it should have been handled and ultimately left me with a very positive impression of the property. I would certainly return to the W Boston.

We stayed here during the World Cup and as an example of just how fabulous the front desk staff were- someone actually researched “ the best ice cream shop for kids in Boston” for me ( I was staying on my own with my two young daughters) and whatsapped me reccomendations. My daughters also came away with free chocolates every day! We loved this hotel, great size room and great location

Great location! Clean rooms. Breakfast food was very good! I had the french toast and bacon. Has a great valet, drop off and pick up area

Stay far away from this hotel. I’m a 30 year platinum Marriott member and a very loyal Marriott customer but this hotel is a disaster. Issues are not escalated and go ignored by management. Service protocols are designed to escalate your issue into and endless hold pattern and unavailable managers. They don’t care about guest concerns and will simply take your cash / charge your card without explanation. Name of manager who never called back will follow under separate cover / post, once I get back to my desk and diary of my multiple calls to this hotel. Do yourself a favor and avoid the hassle by staying anywhere else but the W Hotel Boston.

ENGLISH VERSION W Boston was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences during my trip to the United States. The location is excellent and makes it easy to explore the city. The rooms are comfortable, modern, and thoughtfully designed. What truly stands out, however, is the team. The staff is professional, efficient, and genuinely attentive to guests. Check-in is smooth, post-stay documentation is provided promptly, and Marriott Bonvoy points are credited without delays or unnecessary follow-ups. As a travel advisor who regularly evaluates leading international hotel brands, I can confidently say that this level of professionalism and accountability is not something I encounter everywhere, even within luxury hotel groups. If anyone from Marriott happens to read this review, I would like to recognize the W Boston team specifically—you set a great example of service excellence. I highly recommend W Boston to anyone visiting the city and am genuinely glad I chose this hotel for my stay.
