ENGLISH VERSION W Boston was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences during my trip to the United States. The location is excellent and makes it easy to explore the city. The rooms are comfortable, modern, and thoughtfully designed. What truly stands out, however, is the team. The staff is professional, efficient, and genuinely attentive to guests. Check-in is smooth, post-stay documentation is provided promptly, and Marriott Bonvoy points are credited without delays or unnecessary follow-ups. As a travel advisor who regularly evaluates leading international hotel brands, I can confidently say that this level of professionalism and accountability is not something I encounter everywhere, even within luxury hotel groups. If anyone from Marriott happens to read this review, I would like to recognize the W Boston team specifically—you set a great example of service excellence. I highly recommend W Boston to anyone visiting the city and am genuinely glad I chose this hotel for my stay.

Shabby hotel that is really in need of some TLC. Staff in breakfast area were really slow to serve - we sat for 40mins on our first day before getting anything to eat, but would say that the food was of a good standard. Staff at the bar were lovely!

Was here for one night and was probably the worst experience in a hotel in 40 years of travelling. Arrived back at hotel at 1AM and settled down to sleep. I did not realise there is a nightclub under the hotel. But around 2.30 AM a large group parked their car and had a gheto blaster playing in the street. Never heard a noise like that in my life. All the hotel were complaining. After an hour of no sleep I went to reception to say can you call the police to be told they have and there is nothing they could do. The police came an hour later the music stopped for 10 mins. Police leave and it starts again. I go down and speak to the lets just call them night doormen who I asked did they explain to the police what the issue is and they said no. Police turn up again and as a non us citizen had to explain to the police the issue. 30 mins later they are forced to leave. BUT then then the nightclub starts to spill out and everyone seems to be driving or being picked up that led to more music and souped up cars reving their engines for another hour, The hotel/doormen should have helped the residents out they did not - if you stay at this hotel at the weekend be prepared not to sleep - see other reviews who say the same thing. WILL NEVER RETURN

We stayed here for three nights and found our experience to be largely positive. Location is good and we found we could walk everywhere from the hotel. Rooms were large and comfortable, which was good for us sharing a room as a family. I felt the bathroom could’ve been cleaner, the bath looked like it would benefit from a deep clean and a lot of the grout had had messy repairs. This didn’t impact our stay but has prevented a five star review. We ate at the hotel and the food was nice and affordable. Overall, we would stay here again if in Boston.

Having stayed at the W Boston twice now I feel comfortable/confident (comfidant?) to write a review, that is more than a single experience. I've stayed at a couple of W's now and the Boston expression is probably exactly what the brand was shooting for in an urban setting. It's "hip". The lobby bar is good enough, but is definitely meant for people a bit more "good looking" than myself, but hey that's alright. The breakfast restaurant again is fine. Special? No, memorable...also no. But it is serviceable and you'll be fine having breakfast on property. Location...since I never actually have a destination in Boston and have stayed both times simply to walk around downtown in the afternoon and then head to BOS in the morning it's been fine. Oh, you're right next to ChinaTown so you wouldn't be amiss to head over there for a late lunch/early dinner. Rooms are without a doubt the star of the Boston W. Again...the rooms are quite "hip" but the bed is super comfortable....with the marked exception of that bench at the foot of the bed that I am sure 70%+ of guests are going to bark their shins on every stay. Since I've stayed twice I'll say that the views are....the worst part of the room. A brick office building across the street. Maybe if you're not facing Stuart St it's a different story. Although I did have a corner room that looked a bit east that was significantly better. Service. Eh....I'm not handsome enough to be the target audience. So I dunno. Bored indifference I suppose is a vibe.
