The blueberry beignets at Ajax Boulder are absolutely incredible—easily a 10/10. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with the perfectly covered in blueberry flavor sugar. If you’re in Boulder, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Ajax for these; you won’t regret it.

Excellent brunch at with my friends and their families! The space is beautiful, the service is great, and the food is better than any I've had in Boulder. Highly recommend the eggs benedict and the beignets.

Loved the Limelight. Super clean, super light and airy, great amenities, and, overall, just a good vibe. Felt modern in a thoughtful way, not a cold way. Everyone -- from the parking guys to the bartender to maintenance folks -- was cheerful and kind. Our room was spacious, the hotel's location is great. We had a small problem with the lights, called the front desk, and someone was at our door in literally six minutes to fix it. That's the kind of response I like. We'll most definitely be back.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. A shout-out to Arthur from housekeeping, who showed me where to find the spare blanket, and Marcus at the front desk, who solved a Wi-Fi access problem with one question. A quibble: It would have been nice for front desk staff to wear name tags so that I could learn their names. Front desk staff also do not always give their names when picking up the phone, which makes it harder to appreciate them. The rooms have large windows and high ceilings. The bed is comfortable. The room is very well-equipped. It comes with a Lavazza espresso maker, and delightfully quiet Smeg fridge. The air conditioning is quiet and the controls are easy to use. The multi-level lighting is also convenient and easy to use. There's a lovely big screen TV, and I appreciated being able to use Chromecast. The hotel decor overall is very good. I particularly liked the artworks in the hallways. The breakfast in the Ajax restaurant was good but expensive. $30+ for orange juice, fruit & yogurt, and a pancake side. Not worth it. The next morning I went across the street and bought my breakfast at the Moxy's bar: $12 for a decent breakfast burrito. The "Destination Amenity Fee" is a rip-off, like all resort fees charged by already-expensive hotels. It pays for things that should be included in the price, like Wi-Fi access, a fitness center, and the outdoor pool and hot tub; and it covers things I do not need, like aluminum water bottles and discounts at neighborhood retailers. The one benefit that I used was borrowing a bicycle, which was very convenient. Bottom line: the Embassy Suites on Canyon Blvd is better value, and remains my favorite. A fantastic buffet breakfast is included there and the facilities are almost as good.

The Limelight Boulder was a fantastic choice for our family’s visit and exceeded expectations across the board. The property is luxurious and modern, with a level of quality and attention to detail that’s immediately noticeable. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and clearly designed with real people in mind. The location is a major highlight. It’s perfectly situated for exploring Boulder—easy walks to great restaurants, shops, and nearby outdoor spaces made our visit incredibly convenient. Whether we were heading downtown or spending time outdoors, everything felt accessible. An easy 5-star stay and a place we’d absolutely return to for future visits to Boulder. Highly recommended.
