Week in Costa Rica

This was a family trip and we did not do the all inclusive. if you want to drink and stay there do the all inclusive. but, if you want to do tours and see the county. I would not do the all inclusive. the resort if big and beautiful. 40 dollar massages on the beach and a nice walk to the town. everyone one is so nice.

Beautiful Grounds with msny Amenities

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

We stayed in a unit overlooking the golf course. It was very clean and comfortable and stocked with all kitchenware needed. The grounds are beautiful and we had access to the beach club with pool, gym, beach, restaurants , etc. Will definitely return but get a unit closer to the beach club.

Lovely property and very good staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Stayed at a Marriot Villas and homes listed 2-bedroom condo here over a three day weekend. Property was as described, and everything worked well. The pools were nice and the beach was great. Food was also very good. I didn't spend any time in the spa, but it also looked very nice. Service at the beach club was great.

Why would you replace the roofs of your Beach Club during high season?

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

We spent a day at the Beach Club and listened to roofers remove the roofing tiles above the Neehan Restaurant and Bar. Our neighbor at Bougenvilla spent top $ foe a beach massage and found it to be the worse unrelaxing massage she ever had. We asked one of the staff if they were going to be replacing all the roofs around the club now and they said yes. Really? HIGH SEASO

Great resort - Mediocre Food

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 months ago

Huge, beautiful resort. All inclusive food was mediocre. Faisanella was very good for dinner. Buffet had huge variety, but definitely not gourmet. Italian and Asian restaurants were subpar. Drinks write included and ok - top shelf alcohol was extra. Had access to Westin facilities, which are great. Entire staff is friendly and helpful. Had hard time getting through front gate due to having a reservation through RCI - not in the Westin computer system. Rather secluded location, long drives to sightseeing spots and alternative dining off-site. Great overall experience.
