Grand Hotel River Park, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bratislava

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in a Junior Suite. The room is very clean, spacious, modern, well equipped and has a lovely river view. We initially had a problem with the AC not adequately reducing the room temperature and it was mid Autumn and only 24 degrees outside. The hotel team (reception and an excellent maintenance technician) investigated and after a number of actions, including changing the filter the issue was resolved. We also used the electronic window blinds to filer the afternoon sun. The hotel is approximately 1.5 kilometres from the old town, it is a beautiful walk by the Danube, however if that is too much an excellent tram service, taxi or ride share facilities are options. The hotel breakfast is high quality, extensive, calm and was very enjoyable except when a bus tour group overwhelmed the facility and spoilt the experience. The underground self parking is excellent. The staff are excellent, professional and quite lovely.

Fantastic hotel. We got great room with fantastic view. great service and the breakfast was very very good.

Booked a room with access to the club lounge (living room). Room was a good size with nice bathroom. No in room tea or coffee making facilities which is strange for a 5* hotel. Club Lounge had good selection of drinks but snacks were very poor and room had little ambience. Breakfast was ok but service hit and miss. Hotel is a good way from the old town but a nice walk if the weather is good. Staff generally friendly and professional.

Excellent rooms, very well appointed. Rooms with a view onto the Danube are highly recommended. Very good breakfast, nice outdoor area for dinner

It may have been Grand in years past but not anymore. The rooms are a bit beat up, carpets stained. They sell access to the "grand living room" online but fail to tell you it has limited hours. Unlike most 5 star hotel lounges, this one only really carries a few snacks and coffee. Unsuitable for vegetarians or anyone with food preferences. The hotel is about a mile from the center of old town. It is a lovely walk along the Danube but if you are here for a short stay, hotels in the city center. By the way breakfast here is only buffet.. There is a great place next door, Olive tree that has great a la carte breakfast.
