Rooms wasn’t nearby to each other as requested, very small dark room for what we paid was disappointing, no option to open the window Shower head kept slipping down!! Bed not particularly comfortable Kept hearing a dog barking near our room No drinking water provided in room Clean thoughout the room though Breakfast very busy, cups too small for the quantity of coffee/hot water that comes out, food not replenished very quickly Good location Friendly staff Just not as good as previous visits

Eric at the reception save the day later in the evening for our one night stay and made our experience bearable by changing our room. Top notch customer services from him and not just to us but to everyone he served on the desk. Definitely an asset to the hotel. We initially got checked in 27/3/26 by clearly an inexperienced staff who later made a mistake by attaching a wrong receipt for 2 nights to our email.

We thoroughly enjoyed our return to this superb hotel on the Brighton seafront! The central location is perfect for everything Brighton has to offer - our recently refurbished room with far reaching sea views was tastefully decorated, spacious and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our time in the Met bar - a great place for casual drinks and dining with super friendly and attentive service; and breakfast is also very good quality in a beautiful seafront dining room. The main reason we return to hotel on a regular basis is the incredible staff who fully recognise our HH Diamond loyalty every time we stay! A huge thank you to everyone who make us feel so welcome; special thanks to Jade and Nina (Breakfast Service), Barbara (Met Bar) and Jemima (Guest Services) for going the extra mile to make our stay really special this time. Just back from an outstanding two night stay at the Brighton Metropole... It's not often that you can commend a hotel for getting everything right, but these guys certainly did! The room was fantastic, facilities excellent & breakfast was on another level. Central location to the best bars & restaurants, plus onsite parking make this a total must book for the next time you visit Brighton. I will certainly be back & thanks to all the staff that contributed.

Fantastic hotel right on the waterfront. We had a wonderful two night stay here to see a football match. The proximity to the beach and esplanade was great - a short walk to the pier, and all the life and colour of the waterfront. Service was great and the gym was well equipped.
