Set on a eclectic vibrant seafront, Hilton Brighton Metropole perfectly captures the character of this much-loved city and retains a Victorian elegance and charm. From Sunday jazz lunch and modern dining to a spa and health club, this hotel is the perfect base to absorb Brighton's culture and diversity. Even with these contemporary touches, its heritage and character shines through. With a 125 year history, it would be impossible for the hotel not to.

Had a wonderful stay with my family. Fantastic hotel facing the beach. Entire team is very welcoming. Thank you for the nice upgrade, room was very clean. Enjoyed the dinner and breakfast, as well as the pool. Entire stay has been top class.

Lovely hotel, so clean and tidy and rooms immaculate. Big bathrooms. What makes this hotel really great though is all the staff, so friendly and helpful. Particularly Gianni on main reception desk, helped a lot, and another lady whose name I didn’t manage to get, also Ahmed and Barbara in the bar too, very polite. We stayed one night and have stayed before and will return. The pool and hot tub are great too, perfect temperature and really nice breakfast. One of our favourite hotels to now stay at.

Excellent location on the sea front. Check in was slow but once we got our room we were impressed by its cleanliness. The bed was comfortable, loved the pillows! The air con was very welcome, the only draw back was there was no mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was particularly impressive and we never had to queue for a table.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location by the sea. It is also excellent value especially considering our visit was over August bank holiday. The staff were very good and checking was smooth, and rooms were large and clean. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning in the rooms was ineffective and the rooms at night were very hot, although the aircon was set to maximum. They put a fan in the room for us but it was not really enough. Also, the garage is on a first come, first served basis , so there is no guarantee of a space.

We booked a King Superior room for 3 nights. Check in was alright but once in the room we found they don’t supply a fridge which is most unusual for a Premier 4 Star Hotel. The room was alright but there was a lack of shelves in the bathroom and the sink tap was very loose and slow running water. We used the spa but found there was no padlocks left to lock your belongings in once you get undressed and in the spa they have taken the only sun lounger away the steam room wasn’t working snd there is no seats whatsoever plus it was full of annoying little kids. The next morning when we went down for breakfast it was very chaotic and we had to queue to get checked in to get a table. There were people rushing around grabbing as much food as they could eat. It was not very pleasant or relaxing. The bar is very expensive and they have the cheek to add a service charge even if you order at the bar so beware !! The underground car park is very dark and narrow if you have a big car you will struggle to drive around and find a space. We have stayed in the Grand Hotel next door and it was far superior in every department. Upon leaving we waited ages to be check out as there was a long queue they take a long time checking people in and out asking them loads of questions and the woman who checked us out was very rude.We won’t be rushing back here !!
