Hilton Brighton Metropole

Just stayed overnight. Nice hotel in great location. Only ten minute walk to the lanes or old part of Brighton. We paid for an upgrade to our room and got a larger bed thankfully. The room was nice and clean. Had everything except a fridge. When we first checked in reception was very busy about 9 people waiting for only two staff - they were doing their best. We parked our car in the car park for £24 which was fine but the spaces are very tight for large cars. Had breakfast there which was standard but the pastries and croissants were stale. The coffee machine served cold latte.

The Hotel hosted us for an all day business meeting and I can highly recommend everything about it. Great facilities, lovely food and refreshments. The price was reasonable given the quality of everything - a central location, views of the sea! Thanks so much and we hope to be back again in the future - this time with our swimming costumes to make the most of the spa!

We visited this hotel for a luxury overnight stay. The hotel itself was lovely, we had a luxury king size room overlooking the sea with a balcony. Check in was slow with a queue and only 1 receptionist, she was very efficient and a nice touch to be given a freshly baked cookie! The room was lovely, I do feel though that bottled water could be put in every room especially when you’re paying the price. Sunday morning we went to breakfast omg the queue was ridiculous, we queued for 45 mins for a table, we would have not bothered if we hadn’t already paid for it, I asked reception if we could have the breakfast cost refunded as my husband cannot stand for long due to back pain but was told categorically no, I found this receptionist very abrupt and almost rude. On checking out, same receptionist, asked if we’d had a nice stay and we mentioned the queue and were told sorry but it was unpredictable! Rubbish, they would have known the hotel occupancy well in advance. Very disappointed with this especially from a premium hotel the cost us £400 for the night.

We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday, along with all our guests – and the experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish! From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and looked after. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, many with stunning views over the seafront – truly the best views in Brighton! Guests loved the pool and sauna, and the bar area was a perfect place to relax and catch up. The huge breakfast buffet was another highlight – so much choice, beautifully cooked, and plenty for everyone. The hotel really helped make this milestone birthday extra special. All of our guests commented on how lovely their stay was, and many have already said they'll be coming back again soon. A huge thank you to the team for making everything so smooth and memorable. If you're planning a special event or just want a luxurious Brighton stay by the sea, I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

We stayed here with our dog for one night, opting for a sea view room. Check in was really friendly, informative, and welcoming, despite a very busy conference taking place in the hotel. There is a pet policy, so worth reading up on that to know what to expect, but our dog was welcomed very well and had a bowl and a bed waiting for him when we arrived in our room. He was also welcome in the outdoor terraces. The room we stayed in (king severity balcony) was super modern and clean, and we very much appreciated the AC! Super comfy bed. We enjoyed our stay and will look to come back again soon. Thanks team Hilton!
