Uniquely located on the banks of the Brisbane River and a stone's throw to the Botanic Gardens, Stamford Plaza Brisbane hotel offers a unique riverside lifestyle experience. The hotel is positioned within the hub of Brisbane's financial district and just minutes to the city's best shopping, theatres, restaurants and night life. Unquestionably Stamford Plaza's riverside location is Brisbane's best hotel address.

Generally very good but breakfast service needs to lift its game by offering tea or coffee once guests are seated, especially when both self-serve machines are broken!

My husband meant to book a stay for his parents at Stamford Plaza Brisbane, but didn't check the dates properly. It turned out to be a happy accident since the booking fell right on my birthday week! We live just down the road, but this stay with our 4-year-old made us feel a world away. Arrival & Check-In: The team was incredibly welcoming. Our daughter wanted to say hello, but the counter was too high so my husband had to lift her up. A small step stool for little travelers would be a great future addition! After a quick call prior to arrival to mention my birthday, they generously upgraded us to a Deluxe River View Room. The Room & Birthday Perks: The room features a beautiful European design and a dedicated workspace. The highlight for a family is the massive bathroom with a huge tub and separate shower and toilet, making getting ready with a 4-year-old so easy. Waiting in our room was a lovely personalized birthday card, sparkling wine, and cake. The Breakfast (And Pro-Tip): We scored their famous $1 breakfast deal by booking direct. The food spread was excellent and kid-friendly. However, because this deal is so popular, the restaurant was very busy and a bit understaffed during the peak morning rush. 💡 Traveler Tip: Head down to breakfast early! You will beat the crowd, get faster service, and secure the best tables right by the river window. Final Verdict: The sweeping Brisbane River views, the beautiful outside fountain, and the exceptional hospitality turned a booking mistake into a memorable birthday getaway. We will definitely be back!

Great Location. Beautiful views of the river and bridge. Rooms a little dated but that added to the charm of the property. Not cheap and tacky like a lot of the newer hotels.

Great view from the room towards the Story Bridge. Close to walking trails along the river or through the Botanical Gardens

Was here for the brisbane marathon festival. Was awesome location. Rooms were beautiful. Great restaurants close by (like less than a block away) Everything was clean. Staff at reception very friendly. Didn't get to use the sauna or pool but checked them both out and confirmed sauna both male and females working fine. Beautiful foyer. The negatives. Paid buffet breakfast id probably skip. It was convenient though and normal for a standard buffet breakfast. Coffee was ordinary but there's plenty of other options around. Mattress was a bit lumpy and the room while air-conditioned was a little stuffy but im being picky. Still managed decent sleep. Having a bath was awesome after doing a half marathon and was well used by myself. Car parking was $50/day. Seems all the places in the city are doing this now. Fitted a lifted landcruier in under the 2 metre carpark. Will definitely be back next year.
