Stamford Plaza Brisbane

We had an amazing weekend at the Stamford. From the moment we arrived, it felt like everything had already been taken care of for us. The location is unbeatable, the room was spotless and stylish, the beds were unbelievably comfortable and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Every part of our stay felt smooth and thoughtful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay again.

Beautiful river views, clean and comfortable rooms, and an excellent location in the Brisbane CBD. The staff were friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and elegant. Close to restaurants, shopping, and the Botanic Gardens. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

There has to be better places in Brisbane (or you would hope). Business travel, 2nd time I have been there and it was even worse than the first time. It is dated and there seems to be lack of upkeep. The phones in my rooms didn't work (strange they knew this, still gave me the room without informing me). The sink in the bathroom was another issue and you had to make 5-6 full turns on the knobs just to get water to come out. It was obvious these are issues that didn't just appear immediately before my stay which makes it disappointing. Location is good, but there is a bit of construction in surround area.

Clean, spacious hotel in a great location and first class breakfast. Concierage, Reception and Cleaners all very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely consider staying again next time we come to Brisbane.

My recent stay at Stamford Plaza Brisbane was unfortunately very disappointing and fell well below expectations. To begin with, the breakfast offering was quite limited and lacked variety, which is surprising for a hotel of this standard. The overall quality did not reflect what one would anticipate from a premium property. The condition of the hotel itself is also in need of attention. The furniture throughout feels noticeably dated, and the general atmosphere lacks the freshness and comfort expected in this category. Additionally, the gym and sauna facilities were in very poor condition, appearing neglected and far from inviting to use. However, the most concerning aspect of my stay was the level of service. Despite having booked space for underground parking for the duration of my stay, I encountered a situation on my third day where the car park was full. When I approached the concierge for assistance, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive response. Rather than offering a solution, I was bluntly told to “just park on the street,” and "do you want me to help you or not" which is entirely unacceptable not just given that parking had been booked but as someone should be there to assist customer needs this way of communication is simply unacceptable. This experience reflects a lack of accountability and customer care that is difficult to overlook. Overall, the combination of subpar facilities and poor service made for a frustrating stay, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
