Great location and nice, clean hotel
Location is great and the hotel is above standard. The breakfast was very under par and I probably wouldn't recommend it. Hotel room was clean and functional. Bathroom was clean, but could do with being updated. Pav bar was very convenient, however, you couldn't sit outside as there is building work & scaffolding currently in the courtyard.

All round, very enjoyable.
Great location with good access to river, gardens, city and freeway. An older hotel nowadays, but great, old-world style and atmosphere, nice and quiet, and clean. It seems all rooms have river views, which is excellent. Breakfast by the river was brilliant.

Excellent service
This hotel offers the best atmosphere and service. The view is superb, and we recommend taking a stroll in the adjacent park. The restaurant serves high-quality meals at reasonable prices. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Brisbane.

Walking distance to everything
Great location, close to everything. Comfortable stay, rooms a little dated but neat and tidy. Really comfortable bed and pillows made for a great rest. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the view from my room and relaxed by the pool. Enjoyed being able to walk all over the city. Great place to stay

A 5 Star letdown :-(
Unfortunately this is no longer at the standard of a 5 start hotel as it used to be in previous years, doesnt offer enough facilities and those it does are underwhelming for something advertised a Brisbane's premier 5 star venue. Very dated and tired throughout, pool and courtyard are in need of overhaul and investment. Staff are fantastic and food is beautiful...shame they are let down by what looks like a lack of investment. Brisbane has a wonderful choice of great hotels that i will frequent in future....sadly the Stamford is being left behind :-(
