W Brisbane

I was only here for a night, but i was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Service was exemplary and I was warmly welcomed. My room was comfortable with an amazing view out over the river. Bed comfortable, I liked the toiletries, and I liked the tech in the room that allowed me to control all functions (lighting, blinds, etc) from my bedside. In the morning i took a walk all througout the city, and it was easy from the steps of the hotel onto George Street. Very well located. I had the buffet breakfast and service was exceptional. Loved the omelettes made fresh and the squeeze your own orange juice. This hotel delighted me and I'd happily stay there again.

Good hotel with a nice, well-sized room and an interesting in-room bar setup. The bathroom was also good quality, with a walk-in shower and a full-size bath. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the pool was good and a nice place to relax. The in-room dining was okay but largely unmemorable. What did surprise and disappoint me was discovering on the first night that all of the bars and restaurants had stopped serving food after 9pm. We adjusted our plans and made alternative arrangements for the following nights, but for a five-star hotel, I found the lack of any food option after 9pm quite disappointing. Overall, a good hotel with friendly staff and good facilities, but the limited late-night dining options were below what I would expect from a five-star property.

This is a great hotel to stay in Brisbane. It is a very hip and beautifully designed hotel. The staff is super friendly from the moment you enter greeted by valet to the front desk and daily breakfast service. They value Marriott platinum guests and will upgrade. We were upgraded to a very beautiful suite with a fantastic view. Their breakfast offerings are great.. We found the location to be pretty good and walkable to shops and restaurants. Housekeeping is fantastic as well. I would 100% return.

The hotel looks amazing, great beds and pillows, and many of the rooms have great views. Definitely starting to show some wear. Good breakfast. Where things went wrong were a lot of the basic expectations. Long, long waits for valet. Long, long waits for check in. Slow elevators. Issues with food at the bar. Mixed experience with staff - some trying really hard, others just don't seem to care. I've stayed a lot in the past, so bit surprised at the recent experience I had.
