Hotel Heritage - Relais & Châteaux

We arrived in Buugge later than expected due to issues with the train transfer. I contacted the hotel indicating we were running later than expected and could the restaurant please modify reservation. The hotel was so kind and the restaurant in the hotel agreed we could arrive later even though it was close to their closing. When we arrived the hotel staff whisked our bags up to our room and we were able to enjoy a fabulous and relaxing dinner. I have stayed in relaid chateaux hotels before and have always found the hotels outstanding. Hotel Heritage is another wonderful property. Staff were so kind and professional. The location is perfect. Rooms well taken care of and spotlessly clean. If you have the opportunity stay at this wonderful hotel.

My wife Natalie and I stayed at the Heritage Hotel to celebrate her birthday in April as part of a 2-week trip from AMS to Paris. We arrived and were met by the team. Valet parking worked great, something to consider when spending time in Central Bruges. I highly recommend the location of this hotel. It is close to most of the important landmarks, central plaza and great shopping and restaurants. Just take it slow and easy driving in the city center and it will all be fine. It always felt safe. I recommend at least 2 days to see Bruges. The hotel is decorated in a very classy, traditional manor and we loved it. If you look at the pictures of the rooms online you will see what to expect and the rooms matched the pictures. Our room was beautiful, clean, well-appointed and is what you would expect at a 5-star Hotel. I worked with a number of staff members prior to arriving to make sure our stay went well. They were all helpful, with planning our visit, making reservations at Le Mystique Restaurant on site and working through the logistics of our stay. Ms. Claire, both during our correspondence and in person was lovely. She treated us like we were old friends and revered guests and had similar interactions with every other staff member. The restaurant on site was wonderful. We elected the 6-course menu with the associated wines by course, and it was fantastic. Jarno was our server and took care of us at every turn, every course, every glass of wine. The only thing I might have done differently is to have the driver's portion of wine for each of the courses. Needless to say, it was a wonderful Birthday dinner. If you want a splurge for a great dinner on your trip, this is the place to take it. With a lifetime of travel behind us, we have realized that the differentiator in the hospitality and service industry, is how people make you feel. Team Heritage made us feel special from the moment we arrived until the time we left. After 2 weeks of very nice hotels, from Amsterdam to Paris, this was our best experience, and Team Heritage staff was the reason for this. Thanks to all of them for a great stay.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Heritage in Bruges, Belgium for 3 nights. We had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located within walking distance of all the major sights in Bruges. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast each morning was outstanding. I highly recommend Hotel Heritage

We cannot say enough about the wonderful team at Hotel Heritage. Every member of staff was incredibly helpful, supporting us through months of back-and-forth while planning a special occasion. They went far beyond what we expected, even stepping in to help when a handbag was left behind at a restaurant just before leaving Bruges. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the location is perfect, but it’s the people who truly make it. If you need an extra nudge, this is it, book now. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Heritage.
