The location is excellent - right near Central Station and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very nice accommodations. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We did not order room service but the breakfasts were good.

We stayed at Hilton Grand Place in Brussels for 4 nights in May together with 3 other couples. The location of this hotel is just perfect. Very close to the Grand Place plus most things you would want to visit are within walking distance. If not, the metro and train station are exactly opposite. Check-in was fine and all staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful. They gave us some really good recommendations for where to go for dinner in the evenings. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant. Our deal included breakfast and use of the hospitality lounge (with its free drinks and nibbles and was a great place for us all to meet up). We were given room 433 which overlooked the back and was a very quiet room. It was quite spacious but a bit basic in its furnishings and a bit tired. Saying that, it was well equipped with enough storage space for a few days plus a mini fridge, room safe, tea/coffee making facilities, hair drier, iron and ironing board, toweling dressing gowns and complimentary room slippers. Free wifi. They did not provide any bottles of mineral water in the room but there is a small Carrefour next to the hotel which was very useful. We had a large bathroom with walk-in shower plus a separate bath. Toiletries via dispenser and they did offer a shower hat (which so many hotels no longer provide). Breakfast offered a reasonable selection of hot and cold buffet.

I stayed here in spite of the mixed reviews drawn by the gorgeous lobby, location, hilton points, and that all the hotels nearby also had mixed reviews. I wish I had known 1) Get an odd numbered room that overlooks the pedestrian plaza for more quiet. Between the hotel (even rooms) and Gare Centrale is music, demonstrations, and just a lot going on in general. That said it all quieted down after ~11 pm 2) The beds are really really hard 3) Climate control does not work. It is an older hotel that can be set to heat or cool. Since there had been a heat wave then it got cold, it only blew cool air and there was zero correlation between the set temperature and what came out of the vent 4) The marble bathroom looks luxurious but the side of the tub is really really high. Anyone very petite or with a slight mobility impairment or who is a fall risk should stay away or see about an accessible room 5) The small Carrefour grocery store nect door or shops in the train station are great for drinks, snacks (including fresh produce) or other neefs 6) There are unhoused people in the area and city in general but they never bothered anyone and I never felt unsafe 7) The hotel really is conveinent to everything

My wife and I recently completed a 3-night stay at the Hilton Brussels Grand Place, and it was outstanding. As Lifetime Diamond members, we have high expectations, and this team exceeded them. Aside from being centrally located, the lobby is beautiful, our room was impressively spacious, but it is the staff that truly makes this property special. We want to give a huge "thank you" to four individuals who provided superlative service: - Aglae (Reception) - Jovelyn (Restaurant Hostess) - Antonella (Restaurant) - Ferit (Executive Lounge) These employees represent the best of the Hilton spirit. If you are visiting Brussels, this is the team you want looking after you!

Overall was not impressed with our stay here. When we arrive, the front desk staff(apparently the shift manager) checked us in and was not transparent regarding the $200 deposit and only mentioned this when I questioned the total room charge. Also had issues with being overcharged for breakfast. It should have been included in our stay as a Gild member but we received a charge. At checkout I was told there were no additional charged besides our room and had to contact them afterwards to resolve this after getting a digital receipt. Our initial room was dirty- the tub was blackened, hair was in the sink and our toilet did not flush. We requested a room change and they did upgrade us to the executive floor with lounge and happy hour access to make up for our trouble. Our new room was spacious but had a broken security lock to the adjoining room. It was also loud and we heard sirens often throughout the night (I had requested a quiet room on booking and again prior to check in). Housekeeping seemed to cut corners and did not change bed linens on third night of stay as advertised (we could tell from stains/markings that were on our sheets when we checked into the room). The hotel staff also seemed unappreciative of Hilton Honors members. Upon check in I received a key card that advertised complimentary bottled water for Gold members. When I called the front desk to ask about this they were very rude and told me it was just for Diamond members, after I brought up my keycard I was told they were out of bottled water and could only give me a voucher for water at the bar. It’s a small thing but seemed to be another way they were cutting corners. They had also checked me in as a “Mr.” Despite being a woman- another oversight that contributed to my frustration. Breakfast was so-so. This hotel does have a prime location near the train station.
