Hilton Brussels Grand Place

As a lifetime Hilton Diamond member this was one of the most disappointing Hilton experiences in 40 years. This hotel is directly across from the main train station which makes it attractive but is considerably more expensive than the Doubletree by Hilton a few blocks away. I chose the Hilton because it had an Executive Lounge. What a joke. The lounge was only open two hours a day in the afternoon. Food and beverage was almost non-existent. On my second day there was a sign that said "lounge temporarily closed" - it seems the 10 people that fit into the lounge ate the 10 cheese cubes that were available. Anyone who travels to Europe knows the Executive Lounges are usually far more impressive than in the USA. This was a total scam. The gym at this hotel was also not impressive for a hotel of this size. Overall this was a pretty sorry excuse for a full service Hilton!!!!

Hilton Brussels Grand Place was directly across from the Brussels train station and within easy walking distance of the heart of Brussels. We could walk to restaurants, shops and many of the places we wanted to see, which made the location hard to beat. The hotel was clean and comfortable, although a little dated. The staff was friendly, and our room had a refrigerator and coffee maker, which I appreciated. For me, the convenience of the location outweighed the dated feel of the hotel. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here 25 years ago on our first anniversary so decided to revisit with our daughter Location good as right opposite the station and central to the shops We paid for a junior suite and although frequent Hilton stayers and members, we weren’t offered an upgrade despite my husband stating it was a special occasion Having gone to our room we were somewhat disappointed. The rooms were cold ( not in temperature) but soleless There was no dressing table to dry your hair and so we all had to sit on the floor in the hallway with a lead on the hairdryer that was so short so I thought little care was considered here Again hairdryers are pretty useless and we were missing the nozzle too No luxury product or accessories in the bathroom and we had to ask for a razor as hubby lost his so again for a junior suite, I thought this was odd as every other Hilton we’d been to have this products available Bed was nice, bathroom clean but it lacked character especially for such an expensive room We’d booked for three people and yet only two of bathrobes and slippers- please consider this when you book because it feels like everything is automated and not like they care Lounge area was soulless and very basic with nothing being replenished for people as they had to wait quite a while Breakfast was nice enough, nothing to moan about Staff at reception were sparse. You have to wait a while but they were pleasant enough Overall a bit lack lustre and attention needs to be paid to the feedback

Loved this hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was spacious and comfortable. We requested a room in the back of the hotel which was quiet. Bed was firm but comfortable. Pillows are amazing. Breakfast was very good but only had it once since we had an early flight the last morning. Location is great. Right near the square and old town.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Grand Place Brussels. The location really couldn’t be better. It's just steps from Brussels Central Station, with countless restaurants, cafés, and attractions all within easy walking distance. It was also incredibly convenient for getting to BRU Airport, making the hotel an ideal choice whether you’re arriving by train or flying out. A special shout-out to Leah at the front desk, who was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. She made a great first impression and was genuinely a pleasure to interact with throughout my stay. As a Hilton Diamond member, I also really appreciated access to the Executive Lounge, which was open from 5–7 PM for drinks and light appetizers. It was a great place to unwind even with somewhat limited offerings compared to other hilton lounges. Overall, the combination of the outstanding location, excellent service, and Diamond member benefits made this a wonderful experience. I would absolutely stay at the Hilton Grand Place again the next time I’m in Brussels.
