If you like being in the center of the action, you will find the Amigo to be the perfect location near the Grand Marche and walking distance from Brussels museums. But when you walk through the door, you leave that hustle and bustle behind. The lobby is beautfiul and welcoming and quiet; the food in the restaurant superb; the staff friendly and helpful. My deluxe room wasn't large but it was a good size and nicely appointed. I loved the feel of the carpet under my feet and enjoyed having real bar soap at the sink. I also enjoyed having turn down service at night. My only complaint is that the TV offerings in English weren't great. Mostly news or shows like Comedy Central and HGTV, and 12 at least channels from within the Arab world. For a city where it seemed like everyone spoke English in addition to French, that seemed rather odd.

Wonderful hotel on many levels. The staff were so friendly throughout the hotel. Elizabeth checked us in at the hotel and offered suggestions for our early departure at the end of our 3 day stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the Grand Place and the heart of old town Brussels. The food is wonderful in their restaurant and the Magritte Bar. Roberto was our fabulous server for dinner. He guided us to make the perfect selection of wine to pair with our lobster tagliatelle. Excellent dish! The Magritte bar has original creative cocktails named after Magritte’s paintings. The jazz playing in the background gave a fun vibe. The rooms are nice and cleverly appointed with Magritte touches. The room service, day and night maid service were happy and accommodating. Overall, from the moment we arrived, Albon started the wonderful inviting culture within this hotel and it continued with the other porters, and the 2 concierges. We could not have been more pleased with our stay.

Fantastically located, chic hotel with excellent staff. Lots of lovely little touches make this the best city centre hotel we have stayed in and we highly recommend it for when you visit Brussels. The rooms were well equipped and the bar was a great place to unwind after a days shopping or sightseeing
