Hotel Amigo

Typically comfortable and welcoming property in the Rocco Forte stable, moments from the Grand Place and therefore, unfortunately, surrounded by cheap tourist shops and cafes. Public areas and guest rooms are well-furnished in a classic style and very comfortable, with excellent art on the walls and very good bathrooms. Suites come with fantastic perks, including alacarte breakfast in the room or restaurant, one-way transport and museum tickets. Staff are really warm and welcoming at all times. However, there are communication issues at this property. Following my booking reservation, there were many confusing duplicate messages and emails from Reception and the Concierge service regarding various arrangements. During our stay, I requested a complimentary quick repair of my trouser hem. On returning to my room that afternoon, I was horrified to discover that the said trousers had been SHORTENED!! Luckily the trousers still looked fine to wear but this huge mistake was a sure indication that there are communication issues amongst the hotel’s staff. So, overall a wonderful hotel in the heart of Brussels but communication issues need sorting out.

Location is just wow! 2 steps away from the Grand Place and many other attractions within walking distance. The hotel is so clean and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and the service is the best I ever encountered. I arrived at 6 AM and they checked me in with no issues! I was expecting to wait until at least noon as is usual in most hotels. after a long flight, it was a wonderful surprise. I will stay in Hotel Amigo every time I visit Brussels!

The Rocco Forte Hotel is truly exceptional. It has a warm ambience including some wonderful artwork throughout. All the staff were very knowledgable, professional and very helpful at all times. We would particularly like to thank Benoit and Angel for their assistance. I absolutely loved the personal birthday message written on black slate, along with the delicious cake, strawberries and macarons. We cannot recommend this superb hotel enough.

We spent Valentine’s weekend at Hotel Amigo, a Rocco Forte Hotel as a family with two boys, and from the moment we arrived the service was phenomenal. From luggage assistance and efficient check-in to the concierge, doormen, and bar staff, every interaction was warm, professional, and effortless. We stayed in connecting family rooms 416 and 418, which were spacious, beautifully appointed, and impressively quiet, ideal for travelling with children while still enjoying a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding. The service team and kitchen staff constantly replenished the buffet with care and attention to detail. A very special mention to Claudio from the breakfast team, truly the best of the best. His attentiveness and positive energy made each morning a highlight. Even the thoughtful touches from team members we didn’t meet directly, neatly folding clothes and placing connectors on phone chargers, showed an exceptional level of care. Whether you’re visiting as a couple for Valentine’s weekend or as a family, this hotel delivers a new level of service and hospitality. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Thank you!
