Reviews for NH Collection Brussels Grand Sablon

Art Brussels

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

My stay at NH Collection Brussels Grand Sablon was excellent in every respect. The hotel enjoys a superb location on the elegant Grand Sablon square, within easy walking distance of Brussels’ historic centre, museums, restaurants, and boutiques, while still offering a calm and refined atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, modern, impeccably maintained, and extremely comfortable, with excellent bedding and very effective soundproofing that ensured a restful stay. What truly distinguished the experience was the quality of the service. The staff were consistently professional, welcoming, and efficient, making every interaction smooth and pleasant. The breakfast was also outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options served in a relaxed and elegant setting. The only minor disappointment was that the bar was not open during the afternoon and there was no drinks service available at that time, which feels like a missed opportunity for a hotel of this standard. Overall, NH Collection Brussels Grand Sablon combines location, comfort, and hospitality at a very high level, and I would highly recommend it to both business and leisure travellers.

everything was perfect, we even got to enjoy an upgrade+ I would only recommend that the restaurant not be limited to fine dining. This limits the clientele; however, we were able to make use of room service.

Well-located and comfortable, with some street noise considerations

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We stayed at the NH Collection Sablon in Brussels and overall had a positive experience. The location is a major strength, set just behind a historic church and right next to a range of restaurants, from casual spots to more formal Michelin-rated establishments. It’s an easy and pleasant area to walk around, with a good balance of charm and convenience. We booked a family room, which was very well laid out and comfortable. It included a large bedroom and a separate sitting area with a sofa bed, along with a full bathroom featuring both a shower and tub, plus an additional half bathroom in the living space. The setup worked very well for a short stay and felt spacious overall. The main drawback was noise. Our room was on the second floor (third floor by U.S. standards) and faced the street, and we could clearly hear cars driving over the cobblestones as well as people walking and talking at night. It made sleeping a bit more challenging than expected. Overall, a solid option for a short stay in Brussels with an excellent location and good room configurations. If returning, it would be worth requesting a higher floor or a room that does not face the street.
