I regularly stay at this hotel and its always faultless - beautiful clean rooms, an excellent breakfast and great service as standard. This stay was made extra special by a free shoeshine from Marcello, whose service adds a lovely touch. Highly recommended

Location is great, in a safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of boutique shops and restaurants nearby. Staffs are friendly and willing to provide help. Could walk to city center within 10 mins.

The NH Sablon is my happy place and where I stay whenever I come to Brussels. It's also fair to say that I come to Brussels largely because I can stay here. I've gotten familiar with a few of the long-time staff, and it's always good to be welcomed back by people who remember me. The room is quiet, clean and comfortable, and where I prefer to stay on the backside, there is a lovely view out over rooftops, a walkway, sometimes back gardens. The breakfast is exceptional. Location can't be beat: not in the thick of all the tourists, and walking close to most of what I want. I can't comment on the in-house restaurant. It may be good, just has never appealed to me. I go to Lola's across the Place or pick up something light and eat in the room. When I come here, it's often to rest, so I appreciate the option to tuck in early with a cup of tea and a pastry. Highly recommend for any travel. I've seen business meetings, solos and couples, occasional small tours. Great hotel, wonderful staff. Special mentions: Kader, Najib, Stephane, Oz.

Hotel is located at Grand Sablon which is a clean and safe area, nearest bus stop is about 5 minutes walk away. Generally about 10-15 mins walk away to Grand Place or main shopping street or even the train station. However the area is on a slope which walking up with luggage is dreadful, coupled with uneven roads. Booking was upgraded to a deluxe room with view which is probably the cathedral just beside. Overall space is decent by Europe standards and a separate shower which is appreciated. Room is generally comfortable with sufficient space around. Drinking water is however not provided everyday, only 2 complimentary bottles provided for GHA member throughout the stay (stayed for 4 nights for context). Opting out of housekeeping per day though will allow you to have 2 drinks from the minibar (drinking water included) per day. There is no refills at the hotel too unless the tap water are drinkable which I am not sure of. Not much interaction with the staff this round so not much comments about it. Sweets (peach ones are the best) are being refilled everyday at the lobby which is complimentary, a nice gesture. Overall a decent stay but will have second thoughts considering the location especially the slope, definitely not recommended if you have luggage to move around.
