Avoid at All Costs, Especially for Business

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This hotel is an embarrassment to the Accor brand. It reeks of neglect — literally, with a strange, strong smell throughout. Despite claiming to be 5-star, it’s nowhere near the standard. The place needs a serious refresh. Customer service is shockingly bad, with petty policies, no flexibility, and a sales team completely unfit to handle large clients. They try to charge extra for everything and claim things already included in what we paid "free of charge". They treat professional guests like a nuisance rather than valued partners. Don’t expect support, understanding, or any sense of hospitality. This attitude clearly comes from management, so there’s no hope for improvement. If you’re traveling for business or bringing serious revenue — go (no, no... RUN) elsewhere. This place will waste your time and insult your standards.

Great location, great stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The location was great. We were able to walk to most tourist destinations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed ordering room service and relaxing in our room. The breakfast was pricey for what you got, but after our 2nd night, we got breakfast at the train station at Chez Albert. That was the best thing we ate our entire trip. We enjoyed Le Louise and would stay there again.

Nice boutique hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Good quality boutique hotel near the centre of Brussels. Friendly staff who were very flexible on room allocation and an engaging approach to clients. Rooms were modern, comfortable, with free workable wi-fi, but missing a desk area to work. Tea and coffee making facilities provided, and a kettle was very welcome. Beds were comfortable and adequate number of pillows, and the aircon worked quietly. Usual challenges with plugs working in sinks (they didn't) and leakage from the shower (it did) which could do with some regular maintenance. Pick a view away from the main road for a quiet night. A pleasant breakfast area but limited communal areas, which is typical of hotels of this kind. Would visit again.

Should have trained staff better

Good location next to metro and shopping centre. Staff wasn’t really friendly, every time when I walked passed reception they were not greeting us at all. Restaurant was not so busy for dinner but there were only 2 staff serving at the time we visited so everything was slow and long wait. The day I had to checkout, at 10am while I was in the toilet room the housekeeping opened the door and got into my room without knocking she came in even though I put do not disturb in front of my door. I asked how could you get in didn’t you see do not disturb sign? She just talk to me “departure “ so I said so? I’ll checkout at 11 o’clock. Then she just walked out without any apologies. I called reception they investigated and called me back to say sorry and complimented me with some Accor point. First 2 nights was ok but the checkout day I really can’t accept that the housekeeping opened my door with do not disturb sign and without knocking. I was just by the door I could hear people came in. When I checked out at reception no one even said sorry again… what a standard!!

A comfortable place to stay in Brussels.

Clean, comfortable, extremely friendly staff. Well located. Room was good sized, quiet. Requires going up escalator from street level. Lobby decor needed a bit of updating. Appropriately nice linens. Easy check in and check out. Overall very comfortable.
