An attractive hotel that puts appearance ahead of function. Rooms are large but temperature control on the wall has no impact on room temperature. Bathroom is large but no face cloths provided and temperature control there does nothing. Breakfast offers a wide variety but the hot food is marginal at best. Bacon was barely cooked and swimming in grease. Scrambled eggs were so undercooked that they were inedible. Check-in for a pre-booked group of 22 was done individually with no pre-assigned rooms or pre-programmed key cards to save time.

We were very disappointed with our recent 6-night stay in a Junior Suite. While the hotel lobby was lovely and the rooms themselves were acceptable, the overall experience fell far below the standard expected from a property of this category. Across four different nights, between approximately 3:00 and 4:00 AM, we were repeatedly woken up by a strong smell of cigarette smoke entering our room. This is completely unacceptable in any situation, and especially in a hotel that advertises itself as non-smoking. The smell was so intense it prevented us from sleeping properly. Even more concerning, we were traveling with a young child, and the exposure to smoke posed a genuine health risk. We reported the issue twice to the Front Desk. The first time, the clerk insisted it was impossible because the hotel is non-smoking. He said he would check the 5th and 3rd floors, but when I returned to ask for an update, he admitted he had not checked both floors as stated. On the second occasion, both clerks claimed they could not smell the smoke—even though it was extremely noticeable. What made the situation even more disappointing was the complete lack of follow-up. After returning home, I emailed the hotel three separate times seeking clarification and resolution, and never received a single response. This lack of professionalism and accountability is not what one would expect from a hotel of this level. The repeated nighttime disturbances, the inadequate handling of our complaints, and the health concerns involving our child significantly affected our stay. Given these circumstances, we would not recommend this hotel.

Lovely hote and perfec location, The service is amazing and the food delicious... The room is quite large with a stunning view overlooking the courtyard.

The hotel is definitely a five-star experience. Service was perfect and the room was spacious with all of the amenities one would expect. The heated bathroom floor was a nice surprise. Staff were attentive, courteous and always smiling. We arrived via train at the Brussels-Midi train station and walked to the hotel which was an uphill climb. Later, we realized that it’s only 3 metro stops from the train station to the hotel and then a 5 minute walk. The hotel website didn’t mention that it was so close to the metro station, I would encourage them to add this to the page about getting to the hotel. The breakfast buffet presented a nice selection of options and one could also order eggs cooked to order and crepes. The baked breads were also delicious.
