I became an H Rewards member to avail of the rate. I've stayed at this hotel before over the years, maybe 2-3 times. PROS: (i) Location amazing location on Louise. (ii) Removed from outside noise . The hotel is set back in the property with lots of inside, back facing rooms, so there's not much external noise (barring the occasional siren which you'll here anywhere in Brussels). (iii) The rooms are large. (iv) The front desk was good to me - allowed me flexibility with my room check out so I could decide whether I wanted to stay another day (depended on meetings). They moved my room as well because there was some kind of tar-type material burning/waterproofing of one of the balconies going on right near my original room. CONS: (i) The toilet seat was dirty (on the inner front of the seat ) in my new bathroom , i.e., in the room I shifted to . This is absolutely a no-no. (ii) The rooms are a bit dated, some tears on the sheers etc. (iii) They turn off the cooling in October in many Brussels's hotels, so the room got hot at night, but I opened my balcony door and they provided me with a sheet in addition to the thick comforter, so this was okay. I think for most people the temperature thing in October isn't an issue (iv) the hotel was busy during my stay and you can hear everything from the adjacent rooms. Because of the location and the way the reception went out of the way to help me, I'd probably stay here again.

The location of the Wiltcher's - in uptown Brussels - is very good. Safer than the city center. The hotel is in a nice area to walk around, with plenty of shops. The staff is welcoming and professional. The rooms are rather standard for such a hotel, ok but could be better. This hotel uses carpet floor in the rooms, which makes them quiet and perfect to sleep, without any disturbance from the room above. However, for such a perfect sleep, ask for an inside room to avoid the street's noises. On one side of the hotel there are tramways running from early morning, and that may wake you up. On the downside, the last time I stayed at the Wiltcher's the battery of the safe was low, there was uncollected room service in front of my door when I arrived (and it stayed there till the next morning), and bathroom amenities could be better (there was a rather old towel too). These downsides were unsual, I must say (I stayed there a number of times already). On the upside, each time I go back to the Wiltcher's I feel that the staff at the reception is better and better. In the past - and generally speaking - the staff was very average, the type of "just doing the minimum" type of staff. However, since some time (let's say since after Covid), it is much better. The last time I used the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised that the receptionist - besides being polite as usual - used my title to address me. It is a little thing, but it shows that he does his job professionally and pays attention to details. Also, he mentioned that I asked extra pillows, showed me the pillow menu to select from, and quickly made these pillows arrive in my room. That attracted my attention because very often hotels don't even bother with these extra pillows, even when they offer them in their online booking. So, I was pleasantly surprised again. Regarding the food stuff, the breakfast is good (as in most hotels), and the room service is good too. My only comment is that such a hotel - which is supposed to be a luxury one - should have more than one restaurant. My verdict is that the Wiltcher's has the potential to be the best hotel in Brussels, in the best (and safest) location. But to get to the level of a 5 star or a palace there is still much room for improvement. I wish that the hotel manager (and the owner(s)) would make full use of this potential to bring the Wiltcher's to the level of a great hotel, or why not palace, in the capital of Europe.

A great hotel with excellent service. The very friendly staff made it a wonderful stay. We had a beautiful, spacious room and a lovely bathroom. The restaurant and bar are definitely worth a visit. The hotel is also located in a pleasant neighborhood full of wonderful shops at all levels. The restaurants and bars together make it a wonderful experience.

This hotel was one of the best, if not the best, we have ever stayed at. It is perfectly located for business and pleasure stays. The room we had was spacious and perfect in every detail. The staff, right from the porters, to reception, to housekeeping, and the restaurants, was perfect in every way. I would most definitely stay again and I highly recommend this hotel.

I was in Brussels for a busy work weekend and decided very last minute to stay overnight instead of driving back to Antwerp. Booking online was quick and effortless, and I was able to check in around 10 PM without any hassle. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed — the bellman kindly greeted me and escorted me to reception, where check-in was handled with great courtesy and efficiency. Even though my stay was short (I left again around 7 AM the next morning), it was exactly what I needed. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a calming view of the inner courtyard. The luxurious bathroom was perfect to unwind after a long and stressful day, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt both relaxing and pampering. Check-out was just as smooth and polite as check-in. Although this was only a brief stay, it left a very positive impression. I look forward to returning when I can enjoy the hotel at a more leisurely pace.
