Our first time in Brussels and so glad American Express suggested Steigenberger Wiltcher’s. The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect spot. It is close to the Louise Tube Stop. Deeply appreciated having plenty of towels (not always the case in the EU). The room was perfect for us. A special shout out to J Von, M Hafez and Josephine. They went above and beyond and made our visit extra special. The only odd thing to happen…. we wanted to take bottled water from breakfast but the hostess wouldn’t let us take them. She said we had to get them from the housekeeper. We didn’t have our room cleaned that day so had to track down a housekeeper just to get water. Not sure what that was about. But, other than that it was perfect.

We stayed at the Steigenberger Icon Wiltcher's 3 nights. What a beautiful place to stay! From our arrival, we experienced top notch service. Everyone was so kind and courteous. Our first two nights we were in a first floor balcony room and the third night, at the end of the trip, we were in a regular room. Both were extremely comfortable and all amenities were provided. Breakfast was wonderful as was their restaurant and bar. The concierge, Costes, was so very helpful and went out of his way to arrange for dinner reservations and directions and suggestions as to what to visit on a rainy day. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even recognized us by name when we returned after six days, for a final evening’s stay. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for luxury and comfort. There is a reason American Express features this hotel amongst its Fine Hotels & Resorts

The location of the hotel is excellent - many places of the city can be visited on foot. But the decoration of the room seems a bit outdated, especially the bathroom needs some renovation. The reception staff is kind, but the service is slow. Breakfast was good, but not great for the price. Spa access has to be taken for a separate fee, which seems a little uncomfortable. All in all, not bad, but it would have been better for the price.

After a less-than-pleasant stay at a well-known London hotel chain, arriving in Brussels felt like stepping into calm after a storm. The warmth was immediate—door staff greeted me the moment I arrived, graciously insisting on taking my bag as though welcoming an old friend home. The reception was polished and efficient, yet the true gem of the experience was Cristoff. Attentive without being intrusive, he guided me to my room, pointed out the amenities, and ensured my beloved firm pillows were in place. Later, as I lingered over a late lunch—elegant and beautifully prepared—he appeared again to check that everything was to my satisfaction. Cristoff’s thoughtful suggestions for cultural experiences were inspired and personal, and he encouraged me to share my impressions the next day. His genuine warmth, paired with an intuitive sense of care, transformed what might have been an ordinary stay into a memorable moment of hospitality at its finest. I only stayed two days and dined at the hotel for each meal -- two dinners and two breakfasts. My meals and cocktails were amazing. I am excited to return to Brussels and will proudly state at Steigenberger!

The hotel is really a Grand Hotel with a great atmosphere. The rooms a clean and the beds are of high quality, so you will have a very good quality of sleep. The breakfast is not at a five star hotel level. Not many choices and old outdated coffee machines
