Breathing facade and the main hall. After the renovation, the hotel is a new landmark of Bucharest. Christmas illuminates are fantastic as well.

Beautiful hotel. We visited during December and the outside was beautifully decked out in Christmas decor. We visited the bar/lounge for cocktails which were delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

I came to Bucharest for couple of days on this occasion, and chose Corinthia based on the history of the property and word of mouth that it was the most high end property in the city. It did not disappoint. My suite (301) was spacious, beautifully appointed, with top line amenities. Good service overall, with a decent breakfast offering, and in a property that is just gorgeous, and would not look out of place in Paris - with a dee history. Its also a happening place, with Sass Cafe located within the hotel.

After a Danube river cruise my wife and I celebrated her 65th birthday with a special stay at the Corinthia, and it was a great decision. This is a stunning hotel! The interior design of the public rooms, the art, the decorative furnishings and floral arrangements, the stone statues in the lobby, and the Murano glass chandeliers were gorgeous. The room was equally beautiful, one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. The hotel has only been open for about six months and is a boutique hotel with 32 rooms. I don't think it was that busy so they upgraded us to a larger suite, and gave us champagne and sweets for my wife's birthday. We dined in their equally gorgeous Boulevard 73 restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The location is great too, close to old town and the main shopping streets. And service was superb. They made us feel very welcome, upgraded our stay, and booked us a private airport limo to the airport for 3am for our early flight home. We moved to the Corinthia from the JW Marriott, which was nice, but there is no doubt which is the nicest hotel in Bucharest. It's the Corinthia, by far!

I am speechless, and I am never speechless. Even if you had no intention of ever visiting Bucharest, you should go just to spend time in this hotel. The decor is gorgeous and manages to modernise a bygone era with style and charm. The staff are attentive and helpful with service that feels like you have travelled back to a time when hotels understood guest care and customer service. I travel all of the time and sometimes, I mess up arrangements. But this time I really excelled. Upon arrival it transpired that I had booked Budapest and not Bucharest. Even I am not normally this stupid especially since Geography and travel are my special interests. The staff were truly amazing. They found us a room and even upgraded us whilst also calling the other hotel to arrange for a refund. They were kind and caring and supportive whilst also being incredibly professional. A combination rarely found these days I find. We loved the tranquil atmosphere of the stunning bar and yet more delightful staff. We will return as soon as possible to try the restaurant with its selection of taster menus. Expensive compared to the city, but if the restaurant resembles everything else, then I am sure it will be worth it.
