Anantara New York Palace Budapest Hotel

From the moment we stepped in the door after our wonderful Viking Cruise, we felt like royalty at the Anatara New York Hotel. This is one of the most beautiful places to stay. It is like a palace and both Viking and the Hotel staff were amazing. The cafe was stunning and the breakfast lavish. Our waiter, Kristof was so friendly and prompt. We enjoyed talking with him. The food was very delicious. I was spoiled with Flat White Coffee every morning. Want to thank the hostesses Janua,Gyongyi, Timea and our great server,Kristof for making our stay unforgettable. Also our Viking Guide, Lajos who was so helpful.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The staff were so kind and helpful, and the concierge service was truly exceptional — every little detail felt thoughtful and genuine. The only disappointment was the White Salon Restaurant/New York Café. While it’s undeniably beautiful, the food and service didn’t live up to the five-star standard I expected. We had both dinner and breakfast there, and unfortunately, it just felt average. If I could rate them separately, I’d give the hotel 10/10 and the restaurant 5/10 (mainly for its stunning interior). I really hope the restaurant improves, because I’d love to come back — the hotel itself was amazing!

A very nice hotel and staff. Everyone was very helpful. Terrific location, a lot of shops, restaurants and bars close by.

Wonderful place, decor food and service just perfect. Christof looked after us very well and the eggs Benedict was so good!

I booked a room with 2 single beds at booking.com. The possibility was the condition to stay in the hotel. Once we have arrived nobody mention that we have one king bed and after arrival to the room we were right back at reception and claim that we have no single beds. Receptionist promised to split it during 30 minutes when we were out for a walk. Once we arrived, this was not done so we approach once more reception and he said that the split was not possible and hotel is fully booked. It was night mare to sleep in one king bed as it is very soft and each movement of one person cause the movement of other person. Finally I slept on the room floor on a duvet. After complaining at the reception morning we get parking for free, but with headache and sleepless night we have to skip all day program.
