We had an amazing stay at this hotel and the staff really made it. They noticed all the small things like my sons cricket team and printed a card for him, just so lovely. Jessica and Shirley at reception were just the nicest ladies and my son brought them some chocolates because they looked after us so well. The room was fantastic and the best sleep ever, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing and Dennis was always so sweet looking after us and talking football with our son. Yes the building is amazing, stunning location the food well I can't eat crossiants because they just don't compare but what made this was the Hungarian people, just the nicest people and history of the country and yes they produce good footballers! Highly recommend and we hope to be back thank you

My wife and had the most amazing four nights and the Four Seasons Budapest. Every employee was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for perfection this place is for you!

Our room was very nice, up to date, and well appointed. (Why do all these hotels put thick duvets on the beds when it is never really cold enough? It seems an artifact from when heating was less than satisfactory. So that is one complaint--but one I have for every hotel I have stayed at in Europe in the recent past. Notably, the Hotel Sacher in Vienna helpfully exchanged the duvet for blankets. For every other place, that seems an impossibility.) The shower was a bit small. (I am told that the rooms will be renovated this coming year.) Storage space was minimal--we were two people...it might have been generous for one person. The toilet paper is quite rough and stiff. Breakfast is terrific--among the best breakfast I have had. The lobby is architecturally beautiful--but as a lobby where one might to sit down to gather one's thoughts before going out, or sit for a coffee after a day of touring or business, it is very much lacking--unless you prefer a bar to a lobby. The room manager took my comments to heart, promised he would look into improving the toilet paper, and would take seriously my thoughts for the renovation--so that was most pleasing to me.

My stay at Four Seasons Budapest was very disappointing. During the night my partner suddenly became ill and the response from reception was slow and chaotic. The medication arrived only after several hours and the first delivery was incorrect. We were repeatedly disturbed by ringing and knocking at the door despite clear instructions and the same issue occurred with breakfast delivery. The overall service did not meet the standard expected from a five-star hotel. The building and location are beautiful, but the service we received was below the expected standard. This will be our last visit.

The hotel gets a five star rating… Our room gets a two star rating only because it was at the side of the hotel right outside the window of the nightclub. The nightclub starts playing loud techno music at 11 PM and goes until 4 AM. As a light sleeper, this was not a pleasant experience. If you booked a hotel, check to see when the nightclub is open
