Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace

This hotel is amazing! The history and architecture is just stunning! Across the road from the Gate Bridge, so easy access to walk over to the Buda side and experience the Castle etc.....From check in to leaving, the staff couldn't do enough for you! We had a beautiful room, and even though there was no river view, we had a fantastic stay for my husbands birthday! Facilities include a bar (with special events), restaurant, Spa etc....and centrally located just round the corner from the basilica.

We went here for afternoon tea, it was fantastic. The actual Hotel is amazing, and the service was great. We enjoyed our visit very much.

From the moment of arrival to departure everything was just perfect. The building itself is gorgeous and our room overlooking the Chain Bridge was delightful. Loved the small balcony. The room is well stocked. Food, beverage, front desk, concierge to doormen were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Views of the Danube and beyond. Sometimes some of the Four Seasons hotels you can’t tell that you are in another country but this one did. Beautiful with absolute charming character. Highly recommend.

The Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace is truly a masterpiece — a beautifully restored Art Nouveau landmark that captures your attention the moment you walk into the grand lobby. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive from check-in through departure. The lounge area is elegant and inviting — a wonderful spot to unwind with a coffee or cocktail. Our room was beautifully appointed and featured a dramatic view of the Danube River, Chain Bridge, and Buda Castle, which made every morning and evening feel special. Breakfast was a highlight — plentiful, delicious, and diverse, with attentive service and many made-to-order options. The only disappointment was the concierge. We relied on their recommendations for three different restaurants, and unfortunately, each was underwhelming. A bit more local insight and attention to guest preferences would have made a difference. Aside from that, everything about our stay was exceptional. The property, staff (apart from the concierge), and location made for a memorable and luxurious stay. We absolutely loved our time in Budapest and would return to the Four Seasons without hesitation.
