Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest

All was perfect, without any problems

What a wonderful hotel. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and efficiently assigned our room. We had a park view room, ie facing the Ferris wheel- which at night is gorgeous. Room was wonderful- room to spread out with a small desk, and a comfortable arm chair. Room for our clothes and to fully unpack- we stayed 5 nights. Strange space in bathroom which we used for our suitcases, but otherwise a wonderful room, Able to use minibar- just emptied contents onto shelf and left them there. Able to put bottles of complimentary water into fridge, so cold water available after a hot day sight seeing. Also regular replacement of water- when housekeeping remade room (very efficient and never seemed to come back to them doing our room), during turn down, and occasionally just because they knocked. A point of contention between my wife and I, I loved the shower as Ialways get my hair wet, she hated it as it was either a roof mounted rain head which really got you wet with minimal places to hide, or a full boar hand held. As a lady she said this was a deal breaker, as a guy- I loved it. Excellent central location, and if you come in on the train (we came from Vienna) the connecting station is just around the corner, and if you want to get the bus to the airport, it is also just around the corner (I know- its a 5 star hotel where F1 drivers stay- but my wife and I don’t mind lugging our stuff around to save a few bucks) Even better- the 216/16 bus stop is almost outside the door- and this particular line will take you right to Buda Castle, or even to Fisherman’s Bastion. In this case you didn’t have to walk or catch the Furnicular- also saving a few bucks. Had a wonderful stay, I’d come back in a flash- especially for am F1 race. ALSO- if you are looking for Kolodko sculptures- Mr Beans Teddy Bear is just to the left as you walk out across the street on a wall

I enjoyed from the kind service. The air conditioner wasn’t so powerful so I needed to ask for a fan.

This hotel is in a great location for restaurants & rail services. The staff were very helpful, especially as we needed medical attention. Rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable . Would definitely stay here again, worth the money.

Tucked back near the Budapest Eye this is a modern hotel the rooms were very clean and well maintained. We used the swimming pool which was heated but found it a bit to cold to really enjoy. We did not include breakfast here as it was very expensive and there are loads of choice around the hotel if you have time to walk around. What is a stand out of this hotel was the Concierge Service offered, the staff here were so helpful as we needed to get medical help while in the city and they got us to the help required and followed up to ensure that all was well. This was a lovely place to stay and enjoy what Budapest has to offer.
