Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest

At the Kempinski Corvinus, you will discover old-world service in a modern and beautiful hotel: friendly check-in with suitcase service, turn-down service in the evening, helpful & friendly staff all the way through. Room OK sized, clean, functional, nicely decorated. Bathroom with shower and separate bath tub. Some rooms have a view into the courtyard, which makes them very quiet. Internet worked excellently all the way through, with easy log-in (no room number required). Location is great for visiting Budapest: in the middle of the historic part of Pest, just a few minutes from the Danube. Great for business meetings, too, with excellent meeting facilities.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent in many aspects. The room and overall comfort were outstanding, clean, well maintained, and very relaxing. All members of the staff were extremely professional, kind, and attentive, always ready to help and make us feel welcome. The services offered were outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent, with a wide and high-quality selection. Unfortunately, one incident slightly disturbed our stay. In the late afternoon, around 6:00 pm, while we were resting in our room, an unidentified person entered the room without warning. This situation was unexpected and made us feel uncomfortable, especially considering the high standards of the hotel. Overall, it is a high-quality hotel, but we believe that greater attention to guest privacy and room access control would further improve the experience.

This hotel would be my go-to any time I’m in Budapest. From arrival to departure, every member of staff was exceptional. Reception were particularly helpful, and the staff at Blue Fox the Bar and the Living Room were great. Nothing was too much for anyone, which was great as I am using crutches and really appreciated every door hold or offer of assistance. The room (premium deluxe) was super comfortable, large and had a nice view of fashion street. Quiet, very comfortable and I look forward to our next stay!
