We had a wonderful stay at the immaculate Kempinsky with every detail overseen by the superb Tivadar Sidó (Director of Revenue). The location is wonderful - on Fashion Street & the rooms are really lovely. There are so many different areas to sit - really well thought out! The “Ladies in Red” (great concept) did a great job setting up the room (thank you to the amazing Bella & Alexandra) checking we had everything we needed and the marvellous Timea, in charge of the front desk, was very attentive and thoughtful. On arrival we were greeted most days by Lajos at the front door - he is first class! A great professional! In the dining room Alexandra provided a lovely start to our day welcoming us and finding our favourite table for us. Inside the restaurant David was an excellent host and with staff like Csenge & Atalia breakfast was a really good experience with special dishes prepared whenever we asked. Finally we must mention the ES deli - excellent coffee & fresh croissants & other snacks. Christina & Hella were really friendly and helpful - in such a public spot - brilliant staff! Our first visit to Budapest was made very special by the welcome provided at this central located 5 star hotel. We were upgraded to an executive suite on the 9th floor with amazing views. There were a few Issues with the room but the manager sorted them promptly and courteously in a way that set the scene for a lovely stay. The hotel has top class modern standards of service and facilities. But their best quality is the genuine way in which all the staff were kind and welcoming. We did not try Nobu (we did not come to Hungary to eat Japanese). But their ES brassiere served glorious traditional Hungarian food and such friendly welcoming service leads us feeling we must come back.

A beautiful and tidy hotel, a polite staff that really helps and solves every problem of the guest. Huge, beautiful, spacious and luxurious room. Equipped and large shower. Good lighting in the room, cleanliness and renewal of things in the room are excellent. Excellent and rich breakfast. Excellent spa service, very professional massage. Perfect location.

We stayed at the Kempinski 1 night before leaving on a river cruise. They surprised us with a bottle of wine for our 30th wedding anniversary . Has the best location to see Budapest in 2 days . We were able to walk to the Parliment , restaurants , walk over the Chain bridge to the castle area and short taxi ride to Uniworld cruise port
