Our stress-free, beautiful stay at the Mamaison hotel.
Our experience at the Mamaison Hotel Andrassy was perfect! We arrived late at night and had perfect service and excellent ideas. One of the workers, György talked with us for many hours and went out of his way to give all sorts of recommendations that made our time in Budapest even more wonderful. We are so grateful for his help! The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and has a safe and accessible area in which it is located. It’s a big recommendation to book your hotel here if you want a stress-free, clean and good experience for your family and friends! A first class four star experience
The Hotel Mamaison has an exceĺlent location close to Heroes Square in a calm leafy neighbourhood amongst foreign Embassies. It has a modern boutique vibe with clean comfortable rooms. We booked a junior suite but were upgraded to a large impressive principal suite with balcony. There is a good range offered for breakfast. The hotel has two efficient lifts and a very pleasant outdoor garden terrace on Andrassy Utca serving lunch and drinks. The hotel restaurant is modern and ideal for an evening meal. Delightful Budapest post cruise stay
We stayed at Mamaison Andrassy on a Viking post river cruise extension. Our hotel room balcony faced a lovely quiet street. The hotel is modern, very clean and neat. The restaurant and bar face the busier street with outdoor seating provided a lively location for groups. Inside, closer to the hotel, we still enjoyed a quiet more intimate setting. The room was clean, with plenty of closet space, a spotlessly clean modern bathroom & shower, and an espresso machine for early morning coffee. The hotel is a short walk to one of Budapest's beautiful parks with excellent paved walking/biking paths. The staff was exceedingly courteous, friendly and attentive. This was most evident when they and our Viking host (who had a desk at the hotel) helped us with a weather related air travel change.

Great experience
The location is in a green and quiet neighborhood, close to the metro and the hotel vibe is great. Room was huge and the breakfast amazing. The attention of the staff was kind and helpful

My friend and I combined two packages for a great trip in September. The Andrassy exceeded my expectations in a big way. It was fabulously located, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the rooms were just beautiful. All the extras that were included really sent us over the top! A half-day private city tour, dinner at the hotel restaurant, ballet tickets, a Budapest card for free subway and bus rides, a bottle of champagne and a beautiful book to top it all off! I absolutely cannot say enough great things...

The staff is genuinely eager to please and to help. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very nicely appointed. Breakfast and dinner at the Baraka Restaurant were excellent. The Andrassy Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, but is close to the Hero Square and The Museum of Fine Arts, the Hungarian National Gallery, the Kogart House and the Opera. There is a Metro just a few feet away that will take you into the center of Budapest and to the River Danube. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel - we had a wonderful stay.
