Wonderful hotel with grand original features and some quirky new ones added. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very professional and friendly staff. They kindly let us use the spa after checking out. Only small critisism: Dinner very expensive and way too big portions. Recommended!

Amazing hotel, the rooms are gorgeous the spa is amazing and the location is really convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If i had one only criticism it would be that the rooftop bar should have been left open a bit longer as it shuts at the end of september and we were looking forward to it but i love the hotel and would definitely come back in the future!

Stayed here for 4 nights, we arrived late on the Monday evening and they made sure we got some food in the restaurant. Breakfasts were lovely, staff were always helpful, the bar did some very good cocktails and the room was really comfortable. Would definitely recommend a stay.

This hotel is amazing. We stayed for 4 nights. Very clean and all staff are very attentive and look after your needs. We booked a deluxe king room and ended up on the 7th floor with a balcony and amazing views of the city and The Royal Palace on the Buda side. Room was very spacious and had all we needed, complimentary water, coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer, bath robes and slippers. The en-suite and shower are very nice and the bed was so comfortable and huge. The bed was turned down for us at night too, and the room was cleaned every day, although we chose not to have clean sheets and towels every day, which is an option to be more eco friendly. The breakfast selections are excellent, all the food was hot (that was meant to be) and fresh. The great hall is an amazing room to sit and enjoy your breakfast, included as part of our package. The decor in the hotel is so quirky and appeals to our taste, you will not be disappointed by the look of the hotel. We did not use the Spa but the secret garden in the centre is beautiful. The sky bar on the roof terrace on the 7th floor was not open, but it seems to be shut now for the Winter, a little disappointing as the views from it look amazing, although on the plus side our room looked onto the terrace, screened by some placed trees to gives us privacy, but it did mean we could sit with the balcony door open and let the sun beat in and absolute tranquility in a city centre and no noise from the bar. (other than emerency sirens in the distance). The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the main tourist bit and I have to say we did not feel unsafe walking around in the area. The train station is just around the corner and we could see the trains from the room but you did not hear much from them, a low level humming was about it when the door was shut, the rooms are fairly soundproof. Overall this hotel is well worth a stay, I know some of the rooms do not have huge windows or views but if you are lucky enough to get the top floor then a massive bonus to your stay, possibly on the nicest hotels we have stayed in.

My daughter and I loved our stay at the Mystery Hotel. Friendly service, beautiful room, comfortable bed, delicious food, wonderful spa..we wanted for nothing. It's about 15 minutes to all the attractions on foot and around half an hour from the airport. Would highly recommend.
