The location is simply unbeatable, right in the very heart of Budapest, walk distance from the sites and best restaurants. A special mention goes to our visit to the Velvet Bar,in particular, to Bogdan, the bartender who truly elevated our experience, and made the evening. despite what seemed to be the end of his shift, he stayed on so the experience wouldn’t be interrupted by a change of staff. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. It truly feels as though the world class service standards of Dubai have found a new home in central Budapest. Elegant, calm, perfectly executed hospitality, exactly what a luxury hotel should be. Highly recommended !!!

While the space is maintained to perfection, contemporary yet old world elegance, what made my stay most memorable is the quality of the customer service, and engagement with staff at all levels - from a most excellent breakfast buffet ( Shoutout Soffie and Robert!) - to the lovely front desk ( shoutout Evelin Nandla and Zsafi!) - to Raj guest assistance to concierges and to Mr Omar the big boss. All smiles, authentic engagement and delightful conversation, and an absolute love and respect for their jobs, their roles, as an integral part of what made my stay pleasant and memorable, and would make me want to stay at an Al Habtoor Palace again. The space is indeed a vibe, with value, class, and distinction - but put simply, It is the collective soul of the people therein who work to create an experience for the guest which is unfailingly attentive, and which connects at the level of service to the spirit of the city's rich history itself, but more so, leaves an impression on my soul on my time at the hotel which was warm and nurturing, and will not soon be forgotten.
