The hotel unauthorizedly charged my credit card $59.12. I have reached out to them multiple times for clarification on this charge, but I have received no response. I have to take further action regarding this fraudulent charge. I stayed at your hotel on February 24, 2026, and I believe this hotel is engaging in fraudulent practices.

Found this hotel on Trip Advisor. Beautiful such interesting architecture and the rooms are luxurious! Pair that exquisite service and staff and you have the perfect boutique hotel. The building is set in a lovely arts neighborhood w walkable streets and many outdoor restaurants. Easy 1-1.5 mi walk to top tourist attractions such as museums and Recoleta Cemetery (Eva Perone) and the Presidential Palace. Did not try the bar, but it looks amazing. Room incredible…w huge tub and bath salts. Thanks, Trip Advisor!!

Casa Lucía is one of those rare hotels where luxury feels effortless. From the moment you arrive, every detail is thoughtfully curated and every interaction reflects genuine care. The team delivers service with a level of attentiveness and warmth that elevates the entire experience. Elegant spaces, refined atmosphere, and a staff that anticipates your needs before you even ask — Casa Lucía sets a beautiful standard for modern luxury hospitality in Buenos Aires.

To begin with positives: the hotel has a stunning lobby and nice bar area, and the location/neighborhood is perfect (safe, posh, quiet, lots of lovely cafes, restaurants) when visiting Buenos Aires. The lobby desk staff is friendly and tries to be helpful, but they lack proper training (the mistakes made regarding my reservation were numerous for four consecutive days, requiring me to show up to the hotel to correct them; also many phone hang-ups or not answering at all). The doormen are kind and helpful with baggage/cars but do not open doors (not exactly five-star hotel service); the bartender/some staff were professional and friendly; though others serving the lobby bar were so slow and non-responsive that we left on two occasions. I had to go directly to the bar to get my drink after waiting so long! (the lobby bar had only six people there at the time). A special call-out and thank you to Rocio at the lobby desk who was exceptional in her assistance with several issues that others could not resolve; her level of customer service was fabulous. The hotel overall is not five-star by any stretch (go to Hyatt Duhau for perfect five-star service). The 'regular' room is tiny even for one person. The bathroom shower is ridiculous in size; I am 115 lbs and could hardly fit, and turning around meant hitting the handle and it was stressful to even be in there. The tiny sleeping room had one small window and very little natural light. The bed was not very comfortable (linens were lovely) since the mattress was uneven. The carpet was stained and certainly needed a complete refresh. I searched for the property manager for three days and was told it was holiday time so she would not be in until my departure day. I spoke with the Guest Experience Manager and while telling him my issues, he walked away. I sent the hotel survey feedback and I believe I received a note of apology from this same gentleman (Jose Luis T - he seems to respond to all the Tripadvisor feedback as well). It's such a shame this lovely property doesn't meet international five-star service standards at all.
