Hotel Casa Lucia

Amazing hotel on a quiet tree lined street with a few cool restaurants around it. Rooms are quiet, very spacious with all the amenities (including really awesome bath products and as a nice touch bath salts for bath). The service was fast and service workers very efficient and friendly. One major plus is the bed! Wow, I wish I could transport the pillows, the matress and blankets back home for restful sleep- seriosly! I am never comfortable with hotel bedding, but this was just wonderful! The breakfast was okay, wish the bread was fresher, but it didnt take away from the experience!

We moved to Casa Lucia after staying at a hotel in San Telmo. The neighborhood seemed much safer. Hotel is the perfect base for exploring BA. Rooms are lovely, although the shower is tiny. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel and great location on small one way street walking distance to almost everything. We stayed at the Casa Lucia 9 months ago and are returning to BA next month and struggling if I would stay again because the service was soooo poor. Have rooms booked, but remembered my disappointments and unsure I’d stay again. We spend for four nights and every time we entered the hotel there were 4+ bellman and doormen at the front but no one ever opened the door for us, they were literally standing around speaking with each other, no greeting, luggage assistance, assisting with cab/Uber. Breakfast was slow and uninspiring, took us two days to realize that we could have ordered off a menu because it was never offered. Afternoon cocktails were good, but again service was lacking and very slow. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, amenities top notch. Shower was tiny, but overlooked because the rest of the room was so nicely appointed, it’s the all around poor service that I remember.

It gives you the feeling that you are arriving home.Honestly this is my third stay here this year and each time it feels better and better. Safe zone, at walking distance to recova or shopping areas. 10 minutes from the AEP Airport.

Good location on a quiet street. Good dining options close by. Carrefour Express next door & a larger grocery store, Disco, about 4 min walk away. Hotel has a very nice decor. Great staff. Breakfast buffet adequate. Good sized room. Separate bath & shower. For a hotel that was refurbished quite recently, there aren't  any usb charging ports. The tea/coffee area is dark & should have an overhead light. The worst quality is the very small size of the shower cubicle & I'm a petite person. The hot/cold water mixer juts out, making the usable space even smaller. Actually, quite dangerous if the tap mixer is accidentally pushed the wrong way (hot side), while in the shower,  the hot water will burn as there isn't any temp limiter fitted.
