Beautiful hotel at a great location. Very friendly and attentive staff as well as spacious comfortable and elegant rooms

While the hotel lobby is beautiful, and the room generally sufficient, the shower was so small a single person could barely stand inside. Moreover, although of course I understand the volatility of the Argentine peso, we were promised one rate in dollars and then charged another (again in dollars), with no disclaimer or explanation. After a week of in person conversations, emails, and texts - both to the hotel in BA and the corporate entity - they refused to acknowledge the miscommunication. Other incidences of our stay were similarly fraught and inconvenient: for example, they booked my friend a blow dry at a nearby salon, quoted one price and then she was charged one 3x the amount; and another day I ate a tea sandwich seemingly set out for guest happy hour, and then was chased down and charged. While one very kind hotel employee offered us each 30 min massages as a make good, the issue is that we had money to spend and were willing to do so, especially choosing and paying for this Luxe hotel in a down business environment ... yet we were treated poorly and with mistrust. Buyer beware.

Do not stay here. We mistakenly had two reservations, one through travel agency and another through Hilton (before they were affiliated with Melia) and they took my money twice without telling me we had two rooms booked. If they told us we had 2 reservations and had to pay twice, we would have used 2 rooms (the rooms are quite quite small) 2 bathrooms 2 sets of breakfasts, etc. They got away with me paying for 2 rooms but they did not give service for 2 rooms. Very sneaky and intentionally not customer friendly.

Stayed here for 2 nights on our trip to Argentina. The only positive about this hotel is the location. Hotel located in quiet, posh neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It’s in the middle of everything. When we decided to book 2 nights here, we decided to splurge a little bit. We thought it would be nice summarization of our great 16 days vacation. Instead, we were disappointed. The hotel “renovation “ I can’t even comment on because it looked to me like our room at least was not renovated in a while. The shower is TINY!! Each time I needed to turn, I was hitting the knob of the shower with my back and I am not large woman. The door of the shower open directly to the toilet . The bathroom door never fully closed so one couldn’t have privacy. When we told them about our problem, they listen but did not move us to different room. So, it is hardly 5 star hotel . We stayed previously at Palladium hotel and we loved it. We should stay there again

If you care even slightly about your time, your wallet, or your mental health, avoid Hotel Casa Lucia like the plague. I flew halfway across the world — over 8,500 kilometers — for a trip I’d been planning for years. Casa Lucia managed to ruin it almost immediately. • Useless concierge: I asked for a basic dinner booking — they completely dropped the ball. My group lost a reservation that’s typically impossible to get without weeks of notice. Zero accountability, zero effort. • Tour screw-up: I requested help booking a day trip to Colonia del Sacramento. After a full day and a half of dodged messages and fake updates, they finally came clean: they never booked it. It was too late. One of the core reasons for my visit — gone. • Clueless about the city: Their so-called concierge had no idea what he was doing. I watched him Google restaurants like a tourist and send us to unsafe areas at night. I reached out to the Four Seasons concierge in frustration — they sorted me out in minutes. • Disgusting rooms: Mine reeked of mildew. The carpet was grimy, the furniture stained, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t seen a cleaning crew in weeks. “Luxury”? Not even close. This place is a three-star motel trying to pass as something it’s not. Casa Lucia isn’t just incompetent — it’s a fraud. They think changing management will erase all this? It won’t. If anything, it’s a pathetic attempt to dodge accountability and deceive future guests. Melia should be ashamed to have its name anywhere near this disaster. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. Buenos Aires has no shortage of amazing hotels. Casa Lucia doesn’t deserve to be in business, let alone on your itinerary.
