NH Collection Buenos Aires Jousten

Perfectly situated hotel in Buenos Aires within walking distance to many central places, including access to the Hop On Hop Off buses, which we used, and to the Casa Rosada. Room was very comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was plentiful. Special thank you to the receptionist whose name I didn't get (on duty on the evening of March 6th) who chased up our transfer to the Almacen Tango and Dinner show when it didn't arrive on time. Thank you again.

European style hotel with a great location to walk and enjoy Buenos Aires. The staff was super helpful

On a busy street next to an underground station. Walking distance to tourist sites such as Puerto Madero, Obelisk, Teatro Colon, etc. Staff were friendly. The main entrance has a number of steps which is inconvenient with luggage although a side entrance can be opened. Rooms vary. The one I had was small and dark, facing a side street. Single beds which were rather uncomfortable. Bathroom has no extraction fan and consumables not replenished daily. I found the room too dark and small, so consider a room facing the main road if you want to stay here. Underground station just outside the entrance and trains can be heard on the lower floors. Breakfast was ok. Didn’t have dinner as the restaurant was empty so I cannot comment on this. This wasn’t the best hotel for me as I think there were better options in the city but other guests seemed satisfied.

Through no fault of the hotel, we only spent 14 hours here out of a booked 3 nights. We arrived mid evening. From the photographs you can see there are steep steps up to the lobby. These can be a problem if you are not directed to a side door round the corner. We weren't on arrival but were on departure. Once in the lobby, there is a lift to all floors. Overall the decor is dark both in the rooms & in the corridors. Rooms & bathrooms are of a decent size & layout. The restaurant is in the lobby, open until 10pm. Service was slow but we did get an edible meal. It was very quiet. Breakfast was also served here. Again, adequate but not outstanding. I can't comment on location as we did not have anytime to explore.

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Kettle and coffee machine in room, with small selection of coffee pods and tea bags etc. More can be obtained from reception. Buffet (continental) breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. Omelette made to order. Good location for many attractions. Overall, very happy with our stay.
