Recoleta Grand

The photos in TripAdvisor here are super dated and the property has absolutely been renovated since then, check out the photos on Marriott instead. It is a very pretty hotel and the breakfast room/atrium and upscale restaurant and bar onsite are very chic. Over all an average stay in our opinion. We were disappointed because the “spa” area is very much under construction and completely unappealing and having a sauna and relaxation zone was part of why we chose the hotel. Yes the sauna is functional but the hallway is sort of in the middle of being turned into something else it seems. The bathroom did not feel “tribute portfolio” to us. The gym was nice! One positive is the staff is very helpful and responsive and there are many of them. English is spoken easily at this hotel. Another positive is extremely fantastic location.

A stylish and understated hotel in the heart of Recoleta, with a contemporary design that blends surprisingly well with the character of the neighborhood. The rooms are modern and elegantly designed, while the common areas have a more distinctive personality. One of the highlights is the hidden restaurant and bar, tucked away within the hotel and creating a more intimate atmosphere than you might expect from the lobby.

My husband and I just stayed at this hotel. From the moment we walked in to the time of our check-out, everything was just right. The staff was incredibly accommodating. They seemed genuinely happy to help, answer questions, or do whatever we needed during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet (we like that!), yet conveniently located for us to do the things/see the sights we wanted. We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Recoleta Grand Hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, and very comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The staff was accommodating and always willing to help with anything I needed. Combined with its great location in Recoleta, it was the perfect home base for Buenos Aires.

The hotel has undergone modernization, the rooms and public spaces are pleasant. The staff is correct and friendly, the room I had was sufficiently large and comfortable. Strangely, some disturbing plumbing or air conditioning noises. The breakfast hall is impressive but cold and not too cozy. Breakfast buffet is sufficient. Annoying and greedy is the extra charge for anything beyond black coffee, or a side of avocado (in a country where Palta is plentiful and cheap). The location is great, the small pool cute.
