Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta

I spent 5 nights here before my Antarctic cruise and 3 nights afterwards. The room was nice large with a great rainfall shower which got a lot of use after going out and walking around in the heat while sightseeing. There is also a mini fridge in the room to store stuff in. I had rooms on each side of the hotel, the back of the hotel at first and the second time facing the front and didn't really notice much noise. The street in front can be a bit busy if you are a late sleeper. Got free water every day and housekeeping would stop each night and offer additional cans if you needed it. I enjoyed the breakfast as a French hotel they had an excellent array of breads and pastries and I tried something different every morning. Staff was excellent helping me with directions. I had a late flight so on my last day after check out I stored my luggage and was able to shower and change into fresh clothes in the spa before leaving to catch my flight. When my driver was late showing up to take me to the airport one of the bellmen jumped in and made sure they were on their way on would be there soon. For location it is right in the heart of Recoleta and I walked to almost all the sights I wanted to see. There are two restaurant areas with multiple places to eat fairly close buy. I will 100% stay here again if I come back to Buenos Aires

Sofitel Recoleta didn't disappoint - from check in, to our gorgeous room and huge bathroom to our turndown with chocolates all luxury. Dinner was up there with superb attentive service and breakfast way too many choices.

We had a lovely meal at the Alma. Rib eye was beautifully cooked and tender. Chocolate tart wonderful , topped with ice cream finished it off. Service from Ekaterina was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Fernando from the bar was outstanding with the service and drinks that he provided. He was amazing with his knowledge and selection of cocktails.

Very nice hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights prior to our cruise. We ate an afternoon meal in the hotel restaurant on the first day, and it was excellent! I would like to dine there again! I would like to stay at this hotel again; the staff was beyond friendly, service was excellent and the rooms were roomy and comfortable!
