Casa Dorada Resort & Spa

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Dorada and honestly ended up eating at the resort about 80% of the time because the food was THAT delicious! We had the buffet breakfast at Maydan Restaurant, sushi for dinner, and the grilled fish tacos on the beach .... everything we tried was so fresh and delicious. What really stood out to us was the staff. They genuinely got to know us during our stay and remembered us each day. By day three, we didn’t even have to ask for more coffee ... they were already on it! That level of personal service made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. One of the sweetest touches was our experience at the restaurant. Every time we would sit down for dinner, our server would greet us with “Welcome home.” And honestly, that is exactly how it felt. ❤️ It wasn’t just a hotel where we were staying...the staff made us feel like we belonged there. That level of genuine warmth and personal service made our entire stay feel so special. One of our favorite experiences was the sunset photography session offered right at the hotel. Our photographer, Ilse, was absolutely wonderful. We are definitely not models haha, and she did such a great job posing us and making us feel comfortable ... especially my husband, who can get a little shy with that kind of thing. She made us laugh so much, and the photos turned out so genuine and beautiful. We now have memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime! We also really appreciated the airport transportation. The hotel drove us to the airport right on time, and the car was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. We felt completely safe and taken care of. Our one-bedroom suite was incredibly roomy and comfortable for two people, and we loved the beautiful view from our deck. The air conditioning was comfortable, the room was VERY clean, and we never saw a single bug. The nightly turndown service was such a nice surprise and made the stay feel extra special. The location was another huge plus. We loved being able to walk into town, easily get to activities like the bottom-glass boat, enjoy everything happening on the beach, and then come back to the resort and escape to the pool. We visited in August during the off-season, so it was especially peaceful... at times it felt like we practically had the pool to ourselves! As former professional athletes, we also really appreciated the gym. It was extremely clean and had all the equipment we needed to keep up with our normal routine while on vacation. We especially loved that it had filtered water, which meant we could bring our own reusable bottles and refill them rather than buying a ton of unnecessary plastic water bottles. Overall, Casa Dorada felt comfortable, clean, welcoming, and incredibly easy. Between the amazing food, wonderful staff, beautiful location, comfortable suite, thoughtful amenities, and all the little touches throughout our stay, we truly felt taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful stay , nice ambiance and friendly staff. We got complementary photo shoot and it was a good experience photo shooting and got digital photos shared same day. Nice and friendly staff. They arranged for personal size cake as surprise when I mentioned about my wife’s birthday.

We had our wedding at Casa Dorada in June and truly could not have asked for a better experience. We stayed for a full week with our family and friends, and by the end of the trip we were already talking about wanting to come back. Our wedding was absolutely immaculate. We had 28 people, and 12 Tribes Terrace was a beautiful setting for an intimate destination wedding. The food and service were excellent, and our band, The Soul Collective, was fantastic. More than anything, the entire wedding just felt easy and fun, which is exactly what we wanted. A huge part of that was our wedding coordinator, Katherine. She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process and made everything easy from start to finish. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond in ways we never would have expected, including steaming the groomsmen's tuxes. We were able to enjoy the day without worrying about all the little details because we knew Katherine had everything under control. The service throughout the wedding was also exceptional. Rather than having a traditional bar, we had a server taking care of us throughout the night, and he was fantastic. We never felt like we were waiting for anything. That level of service continued throughout our entire stay. Early in the trip, the manager at 12 Tribes introduced himself to us and told us to let him know if we needed anything while we were there. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but the gesture stuck with us. Whenever our group ate at 12 Tribes, the staff arranged tables for us and took great care of everyone. Casa Dorada also made our stay feel special from the moment we arrived. They upgraded us from a one-bedroom Ocean View Suite to a huge one-bedroom Ocean View Plus Suite with an additional bathroom. Champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries were waiting for us when we arrived. After the wedding, we came back to find the room decorated with rose petals and a bubble bath waiting for us. Those little touches meant a lot. Some of our favorite memories weren't even from the wedding itself. We spent a lot of time together at the pool, including a pool day with everyone after the wedding. The staff served us food and drinks right from our chairs, and everything was excellent. It was the perfect way to relax and spend more time with everyone after the wedding. We genuinely wouldn't change anything about the experience. If you're considering Casa Dorada for a destination wedding in Cabo, we can't recommend it enough. Katherine and the entire Casa Dorada team made our wedding week something we'll always remember. We will absolutely be back.

Amazing stay, clean, very friendly staff, literally steps to one of the only swimable beaches medano. Awesome spa with cold plunge, hot tub, sauna, steam. Incredible photographer we booked through hotel.
