Casa Dorada Resort & Spa

Beautiful property. We stay in 1 bedroom PH suite. We had two full baths. The unit had a full kitchen and in unit Washer Dryer. The balcony was huge and had a hot tube. It was a beautiful place to enjoy morning coffee. The pool and beach were great. The staff is wonderful and made it easy to get chair each morning. The location is a 10 min walk to the marina, Walmart and tons of restaurants.

We had our wedding at Casa Dorada in Cabo, and it was truly beyond anything we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived to the final goodbye, every detail was thoughtful, seamless, and absolutely magical. When we first checked in, the team surprised us with champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and custom wine glasses waiting in our room. It was such a thoughtful and personal welcome — the perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend. Those little touches immediately made us feel celebrated and cared for. The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and beautifully maintained grounds. Every one of our guests raved about their stay — the spacious rooms, the amazing food, and the exceptional service. The staff consistently went above and beyond, always warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend special for everyone. And I cannot say enough about Katherine, our wedding coordinator. She was absolutely incredible. Organized, calm, professional, and detail-oriented — she made the entire planning process feel effortless. On the wedding day, everything flowed perfectly. She anticipated every need and executed our vision flawlessly. Having her by our side gave us so much peace of mind. One of the most unforgettable moments was after the wedding. When we returned to our room as newlyweds, the staff had surprised us again — the room was beautifully decorated with rose petals and the sweetest romantic touches. Walking into that after such an amazing night was the perfect ending to the most incredible day. It meant so much to us. Another huge reason we chose Casa Dorada is the location — and it truly could not be better. You can easily walk to the marina, downtown Cabo, and all of the fun beach bars and restaurants. None of our guests needed rental cars or Ubers the entire weekend. Everything was convenient, safe, and right at our fingertips, which made the experience so relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. If you are considering a destination wedding in Cabo, Casa Dorada is simply the best choice. Stunning setting, impeccable service, thoughtful surprises, and a team that genuinely cares about making your celebration unforgettable. We are so grateful to the entire staff for giving us the wedding weekend of our dreams. We cannot wait to return and relive the memories.

The location is ideal, situated within walking distance of both the marina and town. The resort provides a safe and positive family-friendly environment. The front desk staff were professional and efficient. The bell desk (Brandon) ensured we had everything we needed in our room. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. View rooms are definitely worth the additional cost. Housekeeping ensured our room was exceptionally well stocked. The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Sergio and Jesus were exceptional in delivering food and drinks on the beach, while all the beach and pool attendants worked diligently to provide us with umbrellas and towels we needed. Juhn served as our primary breakfast server, offering excellent service. Additionally, Rosa engaged our daughter with pottery and various crafts at her poolside shop. Having stayed at Casa Dorada on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed.

Bait and Switch summarizes our experience. We did not enjoy our stay at Casa Dorada. The room we reserved (based on pictures from the Casa Dorada and Expedia websites) was NOTHING like the room we actually got. We thought we were getting a beautiful view of the ocean. Instead, we got a low floor view of a small hotel pool. If you looked past a lot of metal work and other structures, you could make out the sea somewhere beyond them. We complained and days later were offered the option to move to a new room. By that time we were fully unpacked and had filled our refrigerator with food and drinks for 6 days. We were also informed that we would need to give our belongings to the staff for 3 - 4 hours while a new room was made up. By that point, it seemed like too great an annoyance to bother.

Total experience was great. All inclusive was a good way to go. Lack of dinner options. Jesus on the beach was great
