*This is the personal message my husband sent to Sebastian, our concierge. And, I couldn’t agree more.* Thank you for an incredible experience at Esperanza! Shannon and I had a wonderful time. And thanks to your team our 20th wedding anniversary was an extra special event:) Sebastian fulfilled our requests without hesitation and was so kind as he coordinated our travel. He gave us the exact room we asked for. We couldn't have asked for a better view—it was amazing! And when we arrived, Ruben exemplified excellent service: He was kind, attentive and took his time explaining the location of restaurants and how to get around, making sure we were comfortable. He and Sebastian worked together to make our stay something we'll never forget. The entire staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy. (Juan was great. He helped me find my way, coordinating rides.) All the pool and beachside attendants were superior. They all performed their duties with smiles and joy. They treated us like royalty. When we asked to move from the beach Cabana (because of the strong winds) to the more luxurious Cabana by the pool Sebastian made that happen on short notice. And Jersain and Sergio even gave us extra loungers so we had an area to lay out in the sun. Shannon asked to go down to one of those loungers but instead they brought them to us! They were so helpful! Mariana brought us specials tastings, little delightful treats. That was such a nice touch. Lucero, Jersain, Sergio and William provided exceptional pool side service. They brought us snacks down on the beach. And when we moved to our pool cabana they were there to bring us the tastiest food—burgers, seafood, smoothies and cocktails. And speaking of food and drinks, the food at the restaurants was a real delight. The red snapper at Cocina del Mar was a real highlight for us. Delicious! The chef even sent out a cake with a special note marking our 20th anniversary. That meant so much to Shannon and I. We dined two nights at Cocina del Mar. And both nights were exceptional. (Please thank Alfredo, Alan and Elan for taking such great care of us.) ...And Alex, too. What a great bartender! His drinks were perfect! We especially loved the "Tulum." We even had dinner at Estrellas one night where Zoe waited on us. Her service was excellent, too. She was so sweet. On Thursday morning Juan Pablo and Fernando brought us to the airport. Having Fernando escort us into the airport to help us with our tickets was classy...and thoughtful. He was very kind. And please give housekeeping a special "thank you" from us. They made us feel right at home and kept everything clean and orderly. Our bed linens were arranged and folded perfectly. They even left beautiful little trinkets for us while we were at dinner. That was so nice. They did an exceptional job. (One housekeeper even put a little velcro strap around my phone charging cable to keep it wound up. That's attention to detail!). I didn't get their names but please let them know that they made our visit SO special. I know everyone that works at Esperanza works so hard...and is so organized. That speaks to excellent management and excellent hiring practices. And even though we were on vacation, Shannon and I noticed all the little details, all the thoughtful little extras that made our stay spectacular. We love that attention to detail. Which is why we'll likely be back to see you all again. So, congratulations on creating an unforgettable experience for us! (And for all your clients.) Esperanza is a very special place. Amazing time celebrating my birthday/ bachelorette with my friends! We had a beautiful sunset private dinner on the beach. Staff were very friendly and the food was devious. Also our host Alexis made everyone feel so welcomed and took care of all our plans! Loved having him set us up each day :)

We’ve had the blessing of being able to go twice now to Esperanza. The week went by way too fast. From beginning to end, we were treated like family, and our butler and his team were amazing. Highly recommend and will stay again. We stayed in the villas, so had full kitchen and a lot of space.

Esperanza is, without question, one of the most visually stunning resorts we've visited in Los Cabos. The grounds are immaculate, the landscaping is beautifully curated, and the dramatic oceanfront setting is breathtaking. Every corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. Our two-bedroom villa was one of the finest accommodations I've ever experienced. Exceptionally spacious and beautifully appointed, with some of the most spectacular unobstructed ocean views I've encountered anywhere in the world. Waking up to the sight and sound of the Sea of Cortez each morning was unforgettable. Where Esperanza falls short, however, is in the details. After more than 15 years serving CEOs, founders, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals as a flight attendant, I've had the privilege of experiencing many of the world's finest hotels and resorts. My profession has trained me to notice the small touches that elevate a luxury experience from good to exceptional. This was the most we've ever splurged on for a special occasion, and I expected those details to be second nature. Service often felt reactive rather than anticipatory, and the gaps showed up before our stay had even begun. We were two couples arriving on separate flights, shared with the concierge team well in advance. My brother and sister-in-law arrived first, only to be met with confusion at reception. Similarly, although airport transportation was included in our rate, we were initially quoted approximately $185 plus taxes and fees each way. Both issues were corrected when raised, but these are the types of details guests should never have to catch themselves. The breakfast buffet reflected this same pattern. The selection was surprisingly limited and remained virtually unchanged each morning, with no rotating specialties or unique offerings. For a resort at this price point, breakfast felt functional rather than memorable. The resort was also exceptionally busy during our stay, with multiple wedding groups adding energy that occasionally detracted from the tranquil atmosphere guests seek in Punta Ballena. Finding chairs at the adults-only pool required arriving by 9:00 a.m., and securing seating for a group of four was often a challenge. Evening turndown service was another missed opportunity. At the world's best hotels, turndown often includes a thoughtful surprise, local treat or handwritten note personalized touch that gives guests something to look forward to at the end of the day. Here, it felt purely functional, with no memorable details and little sense of anticipation. Having stayed at Las Ventanas, Four Seasons Costa Palmas, Nobu Los Cabos, and Grand Velas, Esperanza ranks behind each in overall service execution. In fact, we experienced warmer, more attentive, and more polished service at Grand Velas despite its significantly lower price point. For travelers seeking breathtaking views and exceptional accommodations, Esperanza will undoubtedly impress. For those seeking the highest level of personalized service and thoughtful hospitality, Las Ventanas remains the benchmark.

This vacation was spectacular with my daughter and granddaughter. The best part was my room with a hot tub - over the top haven. This resort is so well maintained it is insane. And everyone - gardeners, workmen, service, etc will always say “buenos Dias” and give you a friendly smile. I felt well taken care of.
