Esperanza, an Auberge Resort

I visited Esperanza for a milestone birthday and it was fantastic! The staff do an amazing job of making you feel special and celebrated.

We've continued to return -- approximately 7 times now, to the Esperanza. We absolutely love this property. We aren't huge on downtown Cabo per se. But to unwind, bask in the sun and enjoy a peaceful, high-end (5 star) property with impeccable service -- this is absolutely it! Quick pop over from Scottsdale - works well for us. Incredible service, rooms, views, dining, pool, private beach, spa and fitness center. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. This resort and location remains one of our favorites. And of course, you can't go wrong with the Auberge resorts collection.

Our experience at the hotel was excellent overall. The staff were warm, personable, and accommodating, and they followed through on every request. Our butler, Abraham, was especially outstanding—he provided excellent restaurant recommendations and local advice, and he was consistently prompt and attentive with both communication and service. He is truly a star. The only issue we encountered was that we did not discover the adults-only pool on the east side of the resort until our final day. The other pools are primarily family- and child-focused areas and were often quite crowded, which made it difficult to enjoy a relaxing poolside experience. While the pool staff were wonderful and very attentive, no one mentioned the existence of the adults-only pool despite the overcrowding. When we finally visited it on our last day, it was exactly what we had been looking for—calm, quiet, and relaxing, with guests respectfully enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The food there also seemed different and noticeably better than what was offered at the other pools. It would have made a significant difference if the various pool options had been explained to us upon arrival, especially on our first day when we were directed to a very crowded pool. That said, the food throughout the resort was excellent. There are many great options, and everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, using fresh ingredients and bold, well-balanced flavors. The resort is also close to many outside restaurants that are great as well and are only a short drive from the resort. Another standout aspect of the resort is the spa. I visited daily for various treatments, and every experience was exceptional. The technicians were top-notch, and the attendants were consistently attentive and welcoming. Overall, it is a fantastic spa, which is always an important part of my trips. This is a great hotel for family trips and those without children that like to be around them. Not recommended if you are looking for a quiet and chill pool side resort.

My wife and I go to Cabo several times a year, and have stayed at most of the 5-star reports and lots of luxury private residences and the Esperanza did NOT disappoint and we’ll return VERY soon!

Esperanza was absolutely incredible, I have literally no complaints. It is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, the food is great. Overall best experience and would definitely return.
