Hacienda Encantada Resort & Spa feels secluded, even though it’s still considered part of Cabo’s Marina Golden Zone. At the far end of the area’s development, quiet, tranquil beaches await, and a string of infinity pools cascade down the resort’s hillside. Hacienda’s traditional Mexican-style suites start at 800 square feet – book a Family Suite for twice that much space – and are outfitted in earth tones with handcrafted furniture and textiles from Guadalajara. Guests who want to venture afield can enjoy their all-inclusive privileges at Golden Zone restaurants, accessible by complimentary shuttle.

We are beyond happy we chose to stay at Hacienda Encantada. We stayed in the El Encanto building and did the regular all inclusive package. The highlight for us was the pool directly overlooking the ocean as well as the magnificent views from nearly all the restaurants. The food was quite good as well. The restaurants that required dinner reservations definitely had the tastiest meals so be sure to make reservations. We made most of our dinner reservations prior to the trip but you could make them onsite. At one point a concierge came around poolside and helped us book an extra dinner reservation in addition to booking an excursion for us in town. All the staff at the resort were really helpful and friendly. Special shout-out to Oner who was very helpful in helping us get from point A to point B whether that was in one of resort golf carts that circulate onsite for the guests or arranging a taxi to the airport. The spa was another great feature of the resort - I loved my pedicure and then enjoyed the other spa amenities like a cavern pool resting area and sauna. The spa is not included in the all inclusive but we did happen to receive a complimentary 15 minute massage poolside which was delightful. The resort wasn’t particularly full when we went so we had no issue finding pool loungers for the day when we went down after breakfast. There were a few things at the resort that weren’t as ideal. For instance the interior of the rooms weren’t quite as beautiful as the rest of the resort but were fine. It took us a while to figure out that the “do not disturb” tag was a small leather shoe that you were supposed to hang from your door. Also, the restaurant we were eating at the first night closed midway through our dinner so that was pretty disappointing and very strange. We were shooed off to another restaurant which was fine but we weren’t expecting Italian on our first night in Mexico. The other tricky thing was that when we checked in the resort was explicit that they didn’t allow Ubers on property. What we did while we were there was call a taxi in the lobby when leaving and then when coming back we would uber. The lobby for the resort is about a 15 minute hilly walk to the gate so it would have been hard to walk to meet the Uber at the gate. Luckily when we called an uber to get back to the resort they would take us all the way to the lobby. To give you an idea of costs, for one ride a taxi was $40USD when the Ubers were about $10USD. So it would be helpful for the resort to allow Ubers on property. They didn’t have a free shuttle to their sister resort in town which we did use to save on transport costs. All in all none of those points of feedback would dissuade us from staying at this resort again. We think we got a lot of value for our money with the quality of the resort restaurants and views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The service is excellent and they made sure all our needs were taken care of no matter what they were. Our breakfast on April the 30th was excellent even though it's just a buffet Karina and Ramon made sure we were taken care of and all our needs were met.

Had a great time. Property is absolutely beautiful. Didn’t like the fact they wouldn’t book my excursions that I had paid for until I arrived. Vladimir our pool bartender was awesome. Great service with a smile everyday. Emiliano our young breakfast server always knew our order. We never had to wait to sign our bills. The premium all inclusive was well worth the money. Using Uber to get around was simple. Although with the premium you have a free shuttle to and from the Marina.

Wonderful service from Rogelio at the front desk. He was so kind and wonderful. Made check in so easy. I also love the grounds of the hotel. Lots of places to eat. The rooms fabulous. Beautiful view of the ocean with nice big rooms. We stayed in the four room suite. Thank you!

I enjoyed a very relaxing week at Hacienda Encantada. The service and food at El Patio at the Adult only pool was fabulous. Gustavo always has a smile on his face, rehabbers what you like to drink and is very attentive. The kitchens are very sparsely equipped. I was only supplied a kitchen towel the first day and it was never replaced the remainder of the week even after calling twice. My bathroom towels were removed, yet not replaced one day and I had a cold shower one night. It would be nice if there was more music in the Vista lobby bar area as it's the only place to hang out at night. The grounds and views are beautiful and they keep the place immaculately clean. It is very safe and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I only went off property once as I come every year and just needed to read and relax this time. So, I did the premium AI for the first time. It was worth the price because the food and drinks are expensive. I use Cabo Shuttle for airport transport. SUR Beach House is my favorite place to go when I venture out. Beautiful spot, good music, did and drinks.
