Spent a few nights with king room and plunge pool, overall an excellent to exceptional experience, with a few caveats. ROOM : Partial view of ocean was nice, pool is very private and in ground like a cocktail pool, not an above ground jacuzzi style, although it did have strong jets if you wanted and with our unit you look out at a green lawn and plants, succulents, rocks, great landscaping design, Room was excellent, very high end design, bathroom was very roomy with outdoor shower, amazing experience. AC worked very well and could chill the room quickly, We were by Talay and there is music at night , DJ, that you can hear from inside the room but it did not bother us. GROUNDS: The grounds are very well kept, immaculate, grass looked liked the Masters, workers buzzing around everywhere keeping things maintained, although they will stop what they are doing when you walk by if you are on one of the walking paths, I don't think that is necessary maybe just a nod or hello. RESORT SERVICE: The service was exceptional from arrival to the room, and anything after, send a text for anything you need, they brought in a second fridge so we could store ice and beer, extra water, brought breakfast to room on departure day early in the morning as requested. POOL BEACH: Amazing pool design, adult infinity was perfect, good separation for families and couples, yes the beach has sand that is grainy as reported but it was no big deal, but the sand get super hot so bring flips, ocean was very nice with a shore break so you cant body surf but you can swim around and avoid the surf break by going out 50 feet and you can still stand up, it was fun. FOOD & Drink: here is where it got a little hit and miss, I thought TALAY was 5 star, phenomenal Thai food and I have lived in San Francisco as a benchmark, however the portions seemed small more like ala carte, if you order dumplings it includes 3 and the waiter asked if we would like to have 4 ( for an extra cost ) and of course with 2 people 4 seems better, MOREA was overall very good, esp. breakfast, ahi poke though had really small poke chunks I mean tiny, not the standard full size cubes. So one order is not a meal. MEZCAL, room for improvement, the lobster was chewy it must have been frozen, for the price that is disappointing, catch of the day was very good, breads served were phenomenal, esp the corn bread muffins. Service attentive however our waiter disappeared and we had to flag someone to get our check after waiting 15 minutes. POOL BAR: I don't care for the design, its not meant to be a party bar I get it but the main bar is upstairs right above it, and the pool bar is just a counter, with a TV above it but high up, you look at large freezer size ice chests sitting on the floor, the waiter had to run up and down steep steps to get to the drinks, I think it was OSCAR, I hope he doesn't fall, he was excellent. The mezcal margarita was not good at all, it tasted like well mezcal from an over crowded all inclusive. Far from smooth and smokey. I was expecting better for the price. PRICING and SUMMARY, 15% gratuity added in automatically at all restaurants plus a 16 % tax, and the tab shows peso's however also tells you the dollar cost, so no guessing, I thought that was a great feature and no math to do. But yes, its expensive here, breakfast for 2 was $110 with two plates, filtered water, a side of bacon and a side of fruit, Dinner for two with no alcohol was between 125-200, other than a 20 dollar beer from the in room bar, the pricing did not seem excessive, this is high end Cabo and you will pay to play but I think worth it if you can afford it because of the overall modern and clean design of the resort, service, the bay its sits on which although public still feels secluded as it was not over run by locals, we will go back.

TLDR: The physical property, the rooms, the beach, and the spa staff are flawless 5-star luxury. If they can tighten up their guest communication and internal booking systems, it would be absolutely perfect. After spending the first part of our trip at a rugged local fishing hotel, checking into the Montage Los Cabos was absolutely needed. It is truly the ultimate in luxury, boasting a wonderful staff, beautiful views, and incredibly comfortable rooms. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it’s one of those resorts where they are clearly trained to stop, acknowledge you, and say hello whenever you cross paths. It’s always a nice touch, though it can feel just a tiny bit weird at the same time! We stayed in a room with its own private pool, which was absolutely perfect for cooling off when we wanted to relax without hanging out around everyone else. The property itself is in a great area, situated right by a stunning, completely swimmable beach. The snorkeling spots right there are fantastic, with tons of marine wildlife to look at. As a fun bonus, you can actually see Jeff Bezos' Cabo house right from the property. The spa is spectacular, and the masseuses are truly amazing—definitely a highlight of the stay. However, the resort's internal systems could use some syncing up. Prior to arrival, they emailed me asking for our details and what we had planned. I replied with our exact arrival time, but when we got there, the room still wasn't ready, which was a disappointment. It made me feel like they didn't even read the email. They told me they would call me when the room was ready, but my personal attendant forgot to add me on WhatsApp when we arrived, so communication was a bit off at the start. I wish they would have just texted me clear updates (e.g., "Your room will be ready by X time") so we could have made plans to stay out longer instead of wasting time sitting around waiting. Once they finally got me added to WhatsApp, everything went smoothly, but the initial handoff was clunky. Furthermore, the spa and restaurant systems don't seem to talk to each other; the front desk thought I had dinner reservations I didn't make, but had no record of the spa appointment I actually had booked. As for the dining, the food at the restaurants was okay, but the menus are limited. After about two days, you’ll definitely want to head off-property for meals, otherwise, it gets a bit boring.

Our stay at Montage Los Cabos was excellent from start to finish. The location is beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful, luxury resort setting. The atmosphere was relaxing, elegant, and exactly what we were hoping for. The rooms were amazing, spacious, beautifully designed, comfortable, and very clean. The cleanliness throughout the resort was excellent. The noise level was very peaceful, making it easy to relax and enjoy the property. The service was outstanding. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food was great throughout the resort, and the amenities were excellent. While Montage Los Cabos is definitely a luxury property, it's pricy due to the exceptional service, accommodations, food, atmosphere, and overall experience. We highly recommend Montage Los Cabos and would definitely return.

Exceptional resort, but VERY expensive. Resort is intimate and had great food and coffee shop on premises, But, it is not all inclusive. Your daily food and bar tab is going to be significantly higher than you would expect. Definitely great experience, just do your research on what you want to do so you are prepared for the final bill.

We just spent 4 days at the Montage in Los CABOS and it was fantastic! From the minute we got there we were treated like royalty: they gave us our own concierge that we could text 24/7 and our room was immaculate. The staff and grounds are exceptional but the best part of the trip was the stunning view of the cove that we enjoyed watching from one of the dozen pools - never got old! Also, the food was absolutely amazing, and Im a picky eater. Every detail of every meal or appetizer was cooked to perfection - simply the best. The 14,000 s.f. spa was nice as well. I also want to do a shout out to the yoga instructor Donaji. Her 7am class was very nurturing and she was patient and awesome. Great resort, great staff and we will be back - highly recommend!
