Montage Los Cabos

I travel frequently and have stayed at many luxury resorts, but Montage Los Cabos has completely blown me away. I visited over the July 4th weekend, which was busy, but the level of service, the breathtaking setting, and the attention to detail made this trip unforgettable. Arrival & First Impressions From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. Diego, my host upon arrival, immediately set the tone with a warm welcome. Hugo, my driver from the airport, gave me a comfortable and pleasant ride with a great introduction to the resort. Josimar handled my check-in seamlessly, providing me with a beautiful room that offered the privacy and relaxation I was craving. The welcome treats were another highlight – the guacamole served upon check-in was hands-down the BEST guacamole I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of guacamole in my life!). Lewis was so kind and brought refreshing welcome drinks, making me feel instantly at home. Exceptional Hosts Special recognition goes to Lewis and Alan, who truly made my stay exceptional. They handled every detail, constantly checked in with me via text, and ensured I was beyond satisfied from start to finish. This level of personalized service is rare and deeply appreciated. Dining Highlights The food at Montage is outstanding: Marea: The Baja fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the ceviche was some of the best I’ve ever had. Carlos provided great dinner service, and Eduardo was wonderful during lunch. Mezcal (Breakfast & Dinner): Breakfast here was a "wow" moment – everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. The coconut cold brew was probably the best coffee I’ve ever had at any hotel. For dinner, Constanza made me the best margarita I’ve ever had, and Oscar, our waiter, provided VIP-level service with such professionalism. Guadalupe had the most incredible energy and made every meal enjoyable. And the ice cream popsicles? The best, best, BEST I’ve ever tasted in my life – mouthwatering and unforgettable! The 4th of July BBQ was a little taste of America – fun, warm, and welcoming, just like a backyard barbecue with family and friends (which is hard to pull off in a hotel!). The food was beyond incredible, and the pastries were phenomenal. Pool & Beach The pool was extremely crowded due to the holiday weekend, so I didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped. (Also, a small note: the ping pong table is too close to the chairs, which makes it less relaxing.) However, I found pure serenity at the beach and in the privacy of my room, which offered the peace and quiet I needed. Special mention to the wonderful pool and beach staff – Israel, Uriel, and Inocente – who provided attentive and friendly service despite how busy it was. In fact, everyone at this hotel provides a consistently high level of service, which is what makes Montage so exceptional. Concierge Shantal, the concierge, was incredible and gave me excellent recommendations that elevated my trip. Final Thoughts Even with the holiday crowds, Montage Los Cabos exceeded every expectation I had – and I have very high standards when traveling. The staff truly makes this resort world-class, and the attention to detail is unmatched. I left feeling pampered, relaxed, and already planning my next visit. Actually… don’t book this hotel. I’d rather keep it my little secret.

The best experience we have ever had from friendly staff and beautiful area to welcome committee with drinks and cold towels much needed for the hot weather. You can enjoy your stay using the spa beach pool and restaurants it’s extremely relaxing and comfortable. The food is very delicious 😋 and top notch highly recommended for relaxing and enjoying your time

The Montage Los Cabos is truly the best 5-star resort in Cabo and I would say one of the best in the world. The level of service offered by the staff, the immaculate condition of the rooms, the beautifully manicured grounds, and picture perfect common areas are top notch. We have been to several other resorts in the area (FS, Palmilla, Las Ventanas and Montage Los Cabos is our favorite that we keep returning to).

My husband and I recently stayed at the Montage Los Cabos and had a wonderful time! Everything about the resort is first class and the staff go out of their way to accommodate you! Restaurant Mezcal is the star and make sure you try the different moles. Try the wine tasting with Javier for something fun! This is a five star property!

The Montage San Lucas is the epitome of hospitality. Everyone at the resort greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. The resort itself is beautiful and immaculately kept. The housekeeping crew is up there with the best in the world. This is an amazing resort that you must visit when in Cabo. We had a partial ocean view, pool room which was amazing. Very relaxing especially outside in our private dunk pool. The beds were super comfortable. Room AC was great. Indoor and outdoor shower. Resort is spread out so there is a little walk to get around but nothing major at all and for those who wish, they can call for a golf cart to pick them up. All the restaurants are first class. Service was impeccable and food was amazing and beautifully presented. Prices are relatively high but appropriate for the resort and for the level of service and quality of food you get. Ask any of the staff about the design of the restaurant and they will give you the amazing stories about how it was thoughtfully designed. Beach is also amazing and one of the many highlights of this resort. It is very clean and very swimmable unlike most of Cabo beaches. Also, in July, there were hardly any crowds and if you go in the morning, you could potentially have the beach to yourself. They truly go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and enjoy their stay. None of our requests were turned down and they made everything happen. I can't say enough about the resort and will most definitely be going back again.
