Montage Los Cabos

Exceptional boutique resort with stunning pool and beach at Santa Maria Bay. Our King room w private pool and outdoor shower and ocean view was amazing. Extremely good food (especially Marea Lunch tacos, Mezcal breakfast and Talay for some of the best Thai food). Be prepared for high heat in August; even the pool water can be too warm at this time of year, but the resort and views are superb. Be prepared to spends lots of money for food and too much for alcohol (or buy some at the airport). The staff are all amazingly welcoming and helpful. Also be prepared to drive 25 min to Cabo and 25-30 min to San Jose for dining and shopping. We loved San Jose.

We had an outstanding experience at Montage Los Cabos. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, and very well maintained. The service is excellent, and everyone who works here is incredibly kind, welcoming, and hardworking. You can really see how much effort the entire team puts into making every guest feel special. The food was excellent, the pools are beautiful, and the beach is absolutely amazing. The service throughout the entire resort was outstanding. A special thank you to our concierges, Perla and Moses, who were absolutely great throughout our entire stay. They took excellent care of us, were always helpful and attentive, and made our experience even better. We really appreciate everything they did for us. There is honestly nothing negative I can say about our stay. The only suggestion I would make is for the kids’ pool area. The pools are beautiful, but adding even one nice waterslide would make a big difference for families. It would give the kids something extra to enjoy and make an already amazing resort even better for families. We will definitely be coming back. I am extremely picky when it comes to hotels and service, so when I say this is a true five-star hotel, I mean it. Montage absolutely deserves five stars. Thank you to the entire Montage team, and especially Perla and Moses, for an amazing stay. We loved it!

We had an amazing stay at the Montage in Cabo San Lucas and would highly recommend it. The staff in every area of the hotel were exceptional—super friendly, attentive, and somehow always seemed to know you by name. The pool setup is fantastic, with multiple pools for both adults and kids and plenty of space for everyone to relax without ever feeling crowded. But the highlight for us was the beach. Unlike many resorts in Cabo, you can actually swim here. The water was crystal clear, calm, and perfect for snorkeling right off the beach. The food at the restaurants throughout the resort was excellent, and the location is great—secluded enough to feel like a true resort getaway but only about 20 minutes from downtown Cabo. Beautiful property, incredible service, great food, and one of the best beaches in Cabo. We would absolutely stay at the Montage again.

The property is beautiful and clean with wonderful views from the ocean view rooms. Ours had a plunge pool which was wonderful. The staff is incredibly attentive and fast to fulfill requests. The beach is beautiful, though watch your feet on sunny days, as the sand gets very hot. The sand is coarse so bring some water shoes to wear. There are all kinds of fish close to shore that you can see with snorkeling gear. The main pools were super clean and inviting and the staff extremely caring and helpful with setting up seating, food, drinks, and snacks. We had the best time relaxing at either our plunge pool, main pools, or beach. Very relaxing and lovely 5 day stay with a very welcoming staff and locals.

So my wife and I went for a week to Montage Resort. Personally, having traveled for almost 40 years, I can say this was the best experience that I can remember, a completely perfect stay with laughably tiny imperfections like the quality of the toilet paper or a leaf blowing in front of us as we walked outside. The food, the rooms, the service, the housekeeping, the pool service, the beach, and the warm and friendliness of the staff made this an unforgettable experience. We will certainly be back and plan on coming here at least once a year
