Had a fantastic stay at the Nobu - top hospitality and amazing food. Special shout out to Salvador and Ted who looked after us amazingly through our stay - no request was too much and Nobu are very lucky to have such great employees!

I will first say that the property is absolutely gorgeous. I am a hospitality architect and I was blown away by the attention to detail, high-end materials, beautiful furnishings, unique pools, and amazing desert landscaping. The design of the spa was stunning and relaxing and the fitness center facilities were top notch for a hotel. I stayed with my husband and our 8 and 6 year old daughters for five nights, and other than the design of the property itself, I felt like it was pretty disappointing. The main lobby/entry area, the cafe, and the breakfast restaurant were all under renovation when we arrived, and this was not communicated to us prior to our arrival, so that was an unfortunate circumstance for us. We knew going into it that the hotel is about 30 minutes from Cabo San Lucas and ten minutes within a gated community off the main highway. Therefore, it's a perfect captive audience situation and the price gouging is absurd. They were charging $18 for a kids meal, which was like a bowl of pasta with marinara sauce or a tiny burger and fries. A plate of three tacos at the pool bar was between $30-35 and drinks were $25 a pop. I expect these prices for a high-end Michelin star restaurant, but not for lunch while lounging by the pool. The food at the restaurants was good, but not anything noteworthy, in my opinion. For reference, we live in Washington, DC, so we are familiar with expensive, high-quality dining. When I booked the hotel, a $1000 spa credit was included. I saw ahead of time that the prices for the spa were overpriced ($300-350 for a 50 minute massage) even by American standards, but figured with the big credit that it was still a good deal. However, when we checked in, we were informed that the credit could only be used on a select few of the spa services, and that the credit did not include a 35% spa and service fee. So for two 50 minute massages, my husband and I still ended up shelling out a total of $300. I felt like this was very deceiving. The service left a lot to be desired. Everyone was extremely friendly and greeted us with smiles and enthusiasm across the resort, but there seemed to be a lot of people doing nothing. We rented a car and there always seemed to be about seven guys standing around at the valet stand and a ton of employees clustered around the concierge. Meanwhile, our hotel room never seemed to be serviced. One day housekeeping never came, another day then one came when we requested it, and another day they did not service the room until turn down while we were at dinner. Our concierge ambassadors, David and Roberto, were very attentive, but most of our interaction with them was through messaging with them through WhatsApp rather than true face to face interaction that I would expect from a luxury hotel property that I have had in the past. At the pool, we were always flagging down the wait staff to get a menu or place an order. While this definitely is a resort more geared toward adults (and I obviously booked it because I wanted something more low-key without water slides and pool chaos), I was surprised that there was not more hospitality extended to the children. Often times at nicer hotels, my kids have been offered a treat or a small stuffy, and that leaves a HUGE impression on the parents that goes a long way if the kids are also treated special. Nobu offered none of that and the kids seemed like an afterthought. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note. My whole family also got some sort of stomach bug while we were there. I do not fault Nobu for this as we could have caught this virus/bacteria anywhere. However, my younger daughter unfortunately vomited shortly after sitting down at Ardea for dinner. This was, of course, very embarrassing for our family, and we immediately went back to our room and she crawled into bed and fell asleep as she felt terrible. Shortly afterwards, we received multiple calls from the hotel to our room and security showed up at our door. They pushed us to sign an NDA that we would not hold the hotel liable for any health issues, but my husband is an attorney and told him he wasn't going to sign anything. This especially left a bad taste in our mouths. We stayed at the Corazon in Cabo proper for two days before to have the beach and lively town experience. This was our first time in Cabo (have traveled to many other places in Mexico previously), so other than that I don't have a basis of comparison in the area. However, if you are looking for a true 5-star, luxury experience and not feel nickel and dimed, you might want to look someone else than Nobu. The property itself is amazing, but the overall experience was disappointing.

Our stay at nobu was amazing - the resort is peaceful and fun and the staff truly made the experience special. Ted and Salvador were wonderful concierges - they checked in on us multiple times a day, making sure we had reservations and anything we needed. Caleb at the pool bartender was amazing and so was everyone else we interacted with. Can’t wait to come back!

Great experience. Food was amazing. Spa was incredible. The staff was very nice and accommodating (especially our concierge David and Roberto!) The only downside was the un swim able ocean. If you don’t mind that, I would definitely recommend this place!

We just returned from an incredible 7-day stay at Nobu Los Cabos, and it truly exceeded every expectation. We stayed in the residences, which were beautiful, spacious, and perfectly suited for our group. A huge part of what made this trip so special was our local ambassador, Salvador. From before we even arrived, he was incredibly attentive—helping coordinate dinner reservations and accommodating every request with ease. Upon arrival, he greeted us personally and made it clear he was available for anything we needed throughout our stay. Salvador went above and beyond in every way. He arranged all of our off-property dinners, and every recommendation was outstanding. One of the highlights of the trip was a scavenger hunt he organized for the six kids in our group—it was thoughtful, creative, and such a memorable experience for them. The property itself is stunning, and the service across the board is exceptional. But it was Salvador’s attention to detail and genuine care that truly made this trip unforgettable for all of us. We can’t wait to return!
