Amee and Jair in entertainment were great. We loved the entertainment, the food, and spent a lot of time enjoying the pool with our friends . The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. Best of all, was our friend’s wedding and reception dinner party.

Generally speaking, the resort was really nice. The staff is very friendly and so forth. The accommodations were really clean, and the maid service was excellent. The beds and pillows were of the utmost comfort. The prices for food and alcohol were very high. We ended up eating most of our meals outside of the resort as it was typically better food and a lot less money. I had a disagreement regarding my bill at the ridge pool restaurant as I had ordered two glasses of wine and a pineapple juice. I received the bill and it was $55. I was charged $15 for the first glass of wine, which I felt was fine, but the second glass of wine was over $25. I refuse to pay it as I thought it was unfair and I was not aware of the price difference. It took them several hours to take the $10 off the second glass of wine. I don’t understand how they can charge this much and not tell you nor give you any indication that you’re ordering an expensive glass of wine. The second glass was no different than the first glass. I definitely would stay here again, but knowing what I know now, I will be bringing my own liquor and eating off the resort. There is a Walmart, not that far away and that is what I would take advantage of.

My husband and I have been coming for over 20 years and gets better each time. Look for Daniel (el “Super Danny”) when you’re poolside - greatest service yet and full of helpful info about Cabo beaches. Say hi to Fernanda from the spa as she makes her rounds. The spa is worth spending the day or half the day there, my husband took an 80 minute deep tissue with Lucia and then another 50 minute (you’ll want to) at their excellent spa. I took a 50 minute with Fernanda and added a facial, both were top notch! And to top it all off, Fernanda treated us to champagne and chocolate covered strawberries!

This resort should be called playa de bait and switch. We booked a two bedroom presidential suite and were careful to select pool side instead of the ridge which was billed for people who want to experience Cabo night life. When we arrived we were told multiple stories as to why the only two bedroom availability was at the ridge. Our room directly faced the marina where the music went until 2am, the sea lions started barking at 6 and oh by the way there is an ambulance station directly across the street (see photo of the view). After talking to the “supervisor” the next day and complaining again they moved us to two one bedroom suites overlooking the pool which was not what we paid for but it was better than the situation we were in and all that they “had available” (the place was kind of dead so I’m skeptical of that). I asked if they could compensate us somehow for the inconvenience and the answer was just no. Not even a resort meal voucher, terribly missed customer service opportunities. Ultimately it’s not a terrible property it’s dated and a bit in disrepair but the pool was fun and most of the staff was friendly with the exception of the front desk. I’m sure they will respond to this and say “oh we are so sorry” but all they had to do was give us something minor as a we’re sorry for the bait and switch and I wouldn’t have bothered to post this with the pictures. But since they couldn’t be bothered, screw them and check out how filthy the remote was so gross.

We are here now and what a RIP off ! We got breakfast only because we like to explore restaurants in town and the culture of this beautiful city. Because we did not do all inclusive (which would have been another 350/perday), we get charged 8.00 for bottled water at breakfast and any other time, We are supposed to pay extra for mini gold and tennis (which we thought would be part of the resort fee) and we are paying 30.00 a day to get to the beach (I can walk, but we have a young one) because we were not made aware that the beach was not swim able. Drinks are 20 plus which we would be happy to pay for if everything else wasn’t charged for. We travel around the world to many places and this place just likes to charge for everything .! Hoping we can move to another hotel for the rest of the week ;( do NOT stay here
