Villa La Estancia - Cabo San Lucas

My wife and two boys, 12 year-old and 21 year-old had a great and relaxing time. The location, beach, access, swimmable beach, proximity to restaurants, the security of the property and the mini market on property all played an important role in our experience. The staff from the beginning to the end were very professional, very friendly and ready to serve .

You will appreciate the level of customer service offered at this resort. EVERYBODY, and I mean everybody (the gate, doormen, reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and food service) was friendly and welcoming. You will pay 15% for this, and it is well worth it, in my opinion. Jonathan and Lupita in reception were outstanding when checking in and out/dealing with the money. Housekeeping is crazy detailed, with no need to call for extra towels/stuff, it just gets handled. The resort is on the "small" side, with two pools and a swim up bar. Of the three resorts, this is the quietest pool (no loud music, no activities, etc.). The pool is not set up for little kid activities either (no play structures or slides)....that's next door. There are two restaurants on site, one is on the higher end for breakfast and dinner, and the other is a lunch grill/sushi/sandwich type restaurant. The sister resorts on either side have dining as well. We are not all inclusive style, so I can't comment on whether it's worth it for the type of food offered. If you like going downtown every night, I'd say this is a pretty long walk....not impossible, but unpleasant if hot or late night. If you prefer smaller style resorts with high customer service, you might like this. If you're an all inclusive style and need action every day.....this isn't the place.

The hotel location is amazing. Staff does an amazing job and they clean this place non stop. My only complaint would be the 6-12 year olds that were running around splashing and screaming at the pool. We have two older kids and understand that they want to have fun but perhaps they make one of the pools “kid friendly” and the other pool adult only, The staff did reprimand some of them since the parents were not paying attention. All in all, wonderful trip!

Writing this review on our last day here. The property is so well maintained and the service was outstanding. Diego was the best! He served us poolside and at the restaurant. Always with a smile and genuine care. He was very attentive and made sure to always check in on us. Thank you Diego!

Alejandro was the best server at La Estancia! He took the best care of us! He is very warm and welcoming! He made our pool time unforgettable with many laughs shared!
