Unforgettable Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

This was our 2nd time visiting Waldorf Astoria Los Cabo Pedregal in less than 6 months and it was even better the 2nd time around than the first. My wife is a Hilton Diamond Loyalty member and we had no expectation about any upgrade but were blown away when they upgraded us to a two Bedroom Ocean View Villa upon arrival. They had left a hand written letter with some treats welcoming us back which I thought was a very nice personal touch. We stayed over the Easter Weekend and I love how they commemorate each Holiday with a special treat delivered to our room. Service was impeccable throughout the whole resort and during the entirety of our stay. Our personal concierge Diego was great in touching base with us each day to see if he could help with anything and was very prompt in responding to any questions or requests. On our previous trip we ate at El Farallon Restaurant which was a very unique experience set against the backdrop of the ocean and cliffside. This time around we had the pleasure of trying out Don Manuel for dinner and the Easter Brunch at Beach Club and both were excellent as well. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the grounds are very well maintained. I love the zen like vibe that it gives off which helps to enhance the tranquility and restfulness experience overall. Service was excellent wherever we went, including the infinity pool, gym, and front desk/welcome area which included timely golf cart ride to the front gate and back when we needed to go grab things. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Iglesias the Guest Service Director as well to Thank him for the incredible room upgrade which made our little family getaway an unforgettable experience. Needless to say, I’m already looking forward to the next opportunity we have to return to this amazing resort.

My memorable stay at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Staying at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos is an experience like no other which can only be described as a "dream vacation'. Staying at the Los Cabos Waldorf Astoria you feel more like a family member rather than a guest. The personalized service, unique amenities and distinctive features creates a memorable experience that is unlike any other hotel or all-inclusive resort. The hotel is exceptionally clean with every hotel employee from maintenance personnel, hotel staff and hotel restaurant waiters/ waitresses focused on individualized interactions providing exceptional service and exceeding expectations. Don Manuel's is one of the hotel's restaurants that is not only convenient but serves excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A specialty which I looked forward to each morning is Pedregal French Toast, which is Incredibly good. I wish to especially thank Andrea and Salvador who greeted me upon my arrival by my name and with their hospitality and kindness they made me feel very special and welcome. I am looking forward to my next visit and I highly recommend staying at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos for anyone staying in Los Cabos.

Amazing and memorable stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My husband and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos in April 2025. I am a Hilton diamond loyalty member, and enjoy many perks with Hiltons, but this hotel outdid themselves. We were so excited when we got there and were upgraded to a three bedroom Oceanview Villa, which had its own large plunge pool, a terrace with two comfortable lounge chairs and a full-size dining table as well as two large comfortable lounge chairs off the bedroom as well. All rooms have plunge pools at this hotel, and all face the ocean. The ocean is not swimmable at this hotel. The service was absolutely outstanding. Every individual we encountered at this hotel went above and beyond to make sure our visit and our stay was as wonderful as we hoped. Rey was our wonderful private concierge who checked in with me every day, including on his day off. He was responsive and very quick always getting back to me for anything we needed with a few moments. We ate at both restaurants, Don Manuel‘s as well as the fine dining at El Farallon and both were very very good. El Farallon has a beautiful location built into the cliffside where ocean waves pound the rocks beneath the restaurant. We originally had our reservation on a Friday evening, but the waves were so intense, we decided to change it to Sunday. I immediately reached out to Rey who immediately responded to me and made the change, it was seamless. Pool is beautiful , beach cafés were fun and easy to have a bite during the day. There is a coffee shop called Neutral Lab, which was great for a midday burst of caffeine. The entire experience at this hotel was just excellent. While the hotel was just stunning and made us feel very comfortable and at home, the thing that really sticks with my husband and I both are the incredibly kind people we met at this hotel. From the concierge to the transportation drivers we had to and from the hotel, to the individual waiters we had at breakfast and restaurants in the evening, each person was kind and genuinely and sincerely thanked us for choosing Mexico and their hotel. Overall, just a seriously memorable experience, one that will ensure we return. Thank you to the entire team at Waldorf Astoria, Los Cabos!

A Stay That Sees You – Waldorf Pedregal Sets the Bar

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We’ve stayed in some amazing places, but the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is something different. It’s not just luxurious—it’s alive. Thoughtful. Human. Every interaction, from check-in to farewell, carried a kind of warmth and attention that’s rare anywhere, but especially at this level. From the moment we passed through the dramatic tunnel and were welcomed with margaritas, the care was immediate. A concierge walked us to our room and gave us a thoughtful tour, while the bellhop brought up our luggage. Halfway there, I suddenly realized I’d forgotten my jacket in the backseat of the car—and I was already preparing myself to go ask someone for help. But before I could say a word, the bellhop showed up, luggage in hand, and casually hung the jacket in the closet like it had always belonged there. That moment stayed with me—it told me everything I needed to know about the service culture at this property. The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, with natural materials and warm textures that felt luxurious without ever being cold. Everything pointed toward the ocean—the plunge pool, the view, the light—it felt like the space was inviting us to slow down and breathe. Once we got settled in, the real magic started to show up in the small moments. We were greeted daily with guacamole and Coronas, delivered like clockwork in the afternoon—a simple ritual that made the room feel like home. The housekeeping team was quietly incredible. Beyond keeping the room spotless, they kept the minibar stocked like magic. I couldn’t keep up with the soda water, Diet Coke, and water bottles—they were refilled faster than I could drink them. It became a running joke. And don’t get me started on the cashews. I kept eating them, and somehow they just kept reappearing. Then there were the touches that made the room feel like it had a personality of its own. Bath towels replenished endlessly—no matter how many we used, they reappeared without asking. Our personal toiletries were neatly lined up and reorganized every day, creating this quiet sense of order and calm. And the turndown service left nightly sweets that became a ritual for us—we’d return from dinner, find them waiting, and share them together before bed. It wasn’t just thoughtful. It was personal. A rhythm we began to look forward to. Even playful touches became part of the story. My wife bought a stuffed capybara, and each day we found it in a new position or spot on the bed. It was light, unexpected, and somehow made the space feel more alive—like the staff was playing along with us. One night, my wife accidentally dropped a glass on the balcony. I called the front desk, and within minutes, Nico, our housekeeper, came up personally to clean it up. She kept saying, “Don’t worry about the glass—the important thing is you’re not hurt.” It wasn’t just service. It was human kindness. That tone was consistent throughout our stay. On our final night, we returned to find a hand-painted gift box, rose petals, and a handwritten note from Nico and the housekeeping team, thanking us for allowing them to care for us. It was personal. It was heartfelt. And it stayed with us. The valet team also stood out. They were consistently helpful and had our car ready fast. One time we were running late, and without hesitation, they gave us a ride to our room in a golf cart. That kind of flexibility and anticipation just kept showing up. And then there was the gentleman at the gate—who welcomed us back every time we returned to the property. He’d ask where we went, what we did, and smile like we were old friends coming home. It felt less like security and more like a blessing at the threshold. Quiet, warm, and always present—he was the guardian of Pedregal’s soul. Every staff member, from front desk to valet to housekeeping, didn’t just know our names—they treated us like we mattered. Not in a performative or rehearsed way—just real, quiet attentiveness. And there’s something about this place that makes the rest of the world go quiet. It felt safe, peaceful, and untouched—like time moved differently while we were here. As for dining, we had breakfast at Don Manuel’s twice, and both times were fantastic. The setting was elegant but relaxed, the food fresh and beautifully presented. The coffee and pastries alone are worth coming back for. One morning, we ordered room service breakfast, and the team went above and beyond by setting it up on our balcony. We had pancakes and coffee while watching the waves roll in—a peaceful start to the day that felt like something out of a movie. We also ordered drinks poolside—I had a mezcal, and my wife had a cocktail—and again, the service was on point. Friendly, fast, and effortless. We didn’t feel like customers—we felt taken care of. We also dined at Farallon, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. The cliffside setting, the crashing waves, the candlelight—it was stunning. We ordered the seafood tower and steak, and both were exceptional. But more than anything, the service stood out—attentive, warm, and genuinely heartfelt. It felt like fine dining with heart. And yes, we’re taking the welcome bottle of tequila home with us as a little souvenir of the experience. Just another thoughtful detail that made the whole stay feel generous and complete. Being Mexican in a place like this—built by hands like my family’s, but rarely experienced by them—carried a quiet weight. It’s hard not to notice that places like this are often enjoyed by everyone except the people whose culture shaped them. But here, we didn’t feel like outsiders. We were spoken to in Spanish, treated with warmth, and cared for with intention. And that matters. Not just for us, but for what it means to be seen in a space like this—knowing where we came from, and knowing we belong here too. Because no matter how stunning the views are, how perfect the plunge pools feel, or how luxurious the rooms may be—none of it would mean anything without the people. It’s the culture of care, the spirit of the team, and the humanity woven through every detail that make this place unforgettable. Without that, it’s just another resort. With it, it becomes part of your story. To the entire staff—concierge, housekeeping, valet, kitchen, front desk, and the gatekeeper who greeted us like family: We see you. We see the care behind the smiles, the effort in every detail, and the quiet pride you take in your work. You made us feel welcome, comfortable, and remembered. And we won’t forget it. We came to rest—but what we found was something rarer: a place that remembered us, as we remembered it. —The Ramirez Family

Once in a lifetime trip!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

What a wonderful, once in a lifetime trip!!!! My husband and I visited here in January for a belated birthday trip for myself. We’d intended to go on my birthday in November, but life had different plans. We, therefore, had to book for January. They were quick to celebrate with us and made the trip memorable and special! We booked using points for a 5 night stay. We are diamond members, so we received complimentary continental breakfast. The up-charge for the buffet was a good splurge for one morning; however, I would not recommend doing that every day. We booked using a standard room reward, but we were delightfully surprised to be upgraded to a two bedroom villa. It had gorgeous views, and it was simply one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! Everyone here was so kind! We loved walking into town (SO close), and each time we returned to a kind smile and a refreshing water and iced towel. The afternoon guacamole, salsa, and chips were a special added touch! I truly can’t say enough good things about this hotel!!
